About Extra Credit

Extra Credit

Named for the neighborhood in which it is located, this brewery opened as part of the rejuvenated Kennedy School in 1997. It is housed in what used to be the little girls' room of the old school, and features artwork depicting the history of beer making as well as the antics of school girls. Concordia brewers Matt Carter and Dave Kosanke stay busy cranking out nearly 3,500 kegs a year, but they're not too busy to help you with your extracurricular activities. Head to the Boiler Room for a Special Release & enjoy this one time offering because when it's gone, it will be no more.

Note: Beers poured at this tasting event qualify for happy hour pricing.

This event is an Official Limited Edition Beer Tasting! You can obtain an experience stamp, getting you one step closer to a $20 gift card, if you've purchased the Passport Insert that allows for additional experience stamps.

About 2017 Whiskey Widow

2017 Whiskey Widow

East met west as Concordia's 2017 Black Widow Imperial Porter aged for three months in Billy Rye barrels from our brothers at the Cornelius Pass Roadhouse Distillery. The barrels were untoasted and uncharred, imparting a clean, oaken impression of rye whiskey upon the depths of character inherent in the base beer.
