The largest of McMenamins' Breweries, the Edgefield Brewery opened in 1991 in the old cannery building of the former Multnomah County Poor Farm. This Saison got an addition of blackberry honey and Brettanomyces Bruxellensis yeast for a secondary fermentation. This dry, light-bodied beer has wonderful aromas of cherry pie, citrus, honey, chamomile, black pepper and fruit rind, rounded out by earthy and funky esters from the Brett yeast. Enjoy this unique beer for a limited time!
