The Biggest Costume Swap in the NW
Every year October rolls around and you have to scramble to come up with a clever Halloween costume. Or, perhaps you have a million costumes that you've stock piled over the years, but they've run their distance and you don't want to wear them again. Or, maybe you just want to find a bunch of random stuff and patch something wacky together?
Well, all of these are awesome reasons to check out The Biggest Costume Swap in the NW: a clothing swap specifically for Halloween costumes! Come join us as we swap all our random costume components: old store- bought costumes, wacky vintage pieces, wigs, props, and anything else from the troves of costume boxes that we all have and seldom make use of!
RULES:
The rules are pretty simple:
1. Clean items only. Duh.
2. No everyday street clothes allowed at this swap -- save those items for the other clothing swaps!
3. Bag for bag policy: for every item you bring, you can grab something cool, and this runs on the honor system. If our security catches you hoarding items, you'll be asked to leave.
Things that are awesome to bring:
1. Old prom dresses, vintage clothes, funky sweaters, weird stuff!
2. Old costumes that are complete and wearable
3. Wigs
4. Props
Things that are not awesome to bring:
1. Yucky make- up or expired face paint.
2. Lingerie
3. Standard street wear clothes (which will be rejected at intake.)
Don't have a bag of costumes to swap? No problem! You can buy an empty bag for $5 and fill it up with awesome finds!

Proceeds from this swap will go toward producing Unmentionable: A Lingerie Exposition. This event, which will take place at The Mission Theater on February 6th, 2019, is an annual fashion show that focuses on independently owned and manufactured lingerie brands. From basics to couture and everything in between, Unmentionable strives to show pieces that appeal to ALL types of people. This show is also about being inclusive, and we are proud to feature models of all shapes and sizes.
