Safety precautions we are taking at Ruby’s Spas:
  • All clients and employees must wear face masks in the spa, unless removing the mask is necessary for a specific service
  • We take clients’ temperatures before beginning treatments
  • Clients are asked COVID-specific screening questions prior to entry into spa
  • Extra cleaning and sanitization protocols are in place, and we have increased times between services to allow for this
  • Our technicians wear fresh aprons for each client
  • Staff washes hands frequently, including upon entering treatment room
  • For manicures and pedicures, technicians lay out a clean towel for clients to sit on
  • Tools are sanitized between clients
  • We have adjusted schedules to minimize the number of people in the building and various service areas, as well as staggering appointments to minimize potential contact between spa guests
  • We are not offering multi-service packages, waxing, hot towel shaves, hot stone massage or couples’ massage services at this time
  • Plexiglass separates clients from staff in the shop
  • Shelves and products in shops are wiped with cleaner every other day
  • Edgefield: No more than six people are allowed in the manicure/pedicure room at a time (including technicians)
  • Grand Lodge: No more than four people are allowed in the manicure/pedicure room at a time (including technicians)

Here’s what you need to know for your visit, and how you can help:

  • Please arrive on the property 5-10 minutes before your appointment and call to complete a short COVID questionnaire and to prepay; after that, you will be asked to come into the spa to be escorted directly to your appointment after a touchless temperature check
  • Be prepared to prepay for service on the day of your appointment to accommodate contactless payment and minimize foot traffic in the retail area
  • When possible, please use curbside pickup for retail purchases with services
  • Current guidelines only allow clients to receive services from one technician for the duration of their day’s spa experience. E.g., no massage and pedicure in same day for one client
  • Clients will exit through a separate, designated exit
  • Please bring your own beverage; we are not offering communal water or tea at this time
  • No minors allowed at this time
