A Message from McMenamins Hotels

As we carefully begin to emerge from closures, McMenamins hotels are opening one by one. Please check individual hotel webpages to check status. Reservations are currently being accepted through our website. We’re still operating on a 48-hour cancellation policy, but remain flexible to your needs.

As we reopen, we are taking special precautions for the safety of our guests and employees. Please be aware of the following before your stay:

  • Most public areas at our hotels are closed, including Ruby’s Spas, pools, games, bars & restaurants.
  • Restaurants are open for call-ahead takeout only. We will happily deliver to your room by giving a knock, then stepping aside for you to pick up your food safely.
  • Many of our locations are not accepting cash at this time. At those locations, payments must be by credit card or gift card.

Please email us at hotels@mcmenamins.com if you have any questions!

Precautions at McMenamins Hotels
The health and well-being of our guests and employees is our priority. We are monitoring the COVID-19  situation in all of the communities where McMenamins is located, and we are carefully following CDC and state guidelines, along with instituting our own health and safety procedures:

Your Hotel Room
In your hotel room all surfaces have been wiped down using a COVID-19 lab-tested cleaner/sanitizer. All bedding, used and unused terrycloth and linens are changed between guest use.

Our Employees

  • Employees receive specific COVID-19 training that covers hand washing, masks, sanitization procedures and distancing
  • Employees are required to wear masks at all times
  • Employees are required to wash hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds frequently and always before consuming or preparing food
  • Frequently touched surfaces such as handles, key pads and light switches are sanitized hourly
  • Employees wear disposable gloves for cleaning and dispose of after each use, then wash hands after disposing of gloves
  • Employees must refrain from touching their eyes, nose, and mouth. If they do so, they must wash their hands immediately
  • If an employee shows signs of illness or has known exposure to someone with COVID-19, they are instructed to self-isolate

Our Guests
We ask that you help us by respecting COVID-19 procedures for everyone’s safety.
  • Masks are encouraged in all public areas
  • Personal growlers can be filled at pubs/restaurants; our staff will sanitize your growler before filling
  • In order to reduce touch points and interactions, all Passport activity, including stamps and prizes, has been suspended at this time

Most Hotel Gift Shops, Markets and Bottle Shops Are Open
You’re welcome to pick up to-go beer, wine and spirits, along with other fun goods in our shops.
Please help us stay safe by following these precautions:

  • Maintain six feet distance between yourself and others
  • No outside growler fills (personal growler fills available in the pubs)
  • No Passport stamping or prizes until further notice
  • Masks encouraged
