Think Italian-style piazza. Think intimate New Orleans courtyard. Think outdoor garden oasis and you'll get a pretty good idea of what we're talking about. Edgefield's popular outdoor eatery, the Loading Dock Grill has had a facelift and the results are well worth a leisurely lunch at this historic estate.

Cobblestone pavers fill this area and organic-shaped planters boast spectacular perennials and annuals. The stately water tower - built back in the 1930's - still stands guard over this area and the bustling Edgefield brewery is backdrop to a casual dining spot for lunch and dinner all summer long. Garden artwork and Edgefield's newest (and indeed smallest!) bar, The Black Rabbit House, services diners with McMenamins handcrafted ales, wines and spirits.
