Over the last 60-plus years, a portion of the plastic we consume has made its way in to our oceans. We know little about how much plastic is in our oceans and even less about how this newly-introduced plastic is affecting the ocean ecosystem from microscopic organisms that on the plastic to fish that ingest the plastic mistaking it for food.

The Barley Mill on SE Hawthorne in Portland. How many McMenamins are there in the Seattle area? Three – Mill Creek, Six Arms and Queen Anne. McMenamins has a full-time historian on staff. He collects stories, photos, anecdotes and more about McMenamins spots, past and present.
