Come have a beer and listen to this former history teacher discuss our state’s legacy of political corruption in the 1800s.
About the speaker
Tom Marsh, author of To the Promised Land: A History of Government and Politics in Oregon (2012), taught high school history in Oregon for 28 years. He represented eastern Washington County in the state legislature from 1975 to 1979, and has participated in numerous political campaigns over a span of nearly 50 years. He lives in Salem, Oregon.
