About The Trembling Giant (NR)
Q&A with the filmmakers follows the screening.
The Trembling Giant is a feature-length, documentary film inspired by the beauties of elk camp, the passion for hunting in the rugged Rocky Mountains and the unique connection between man, animal and nature. Join our filmmakers and team of hunters as they embark on a journey of this magnitude – considered for some to be a trip of a lifetime.
As you traverse down a 3,000 foot cliff on horseback with nothing more than the light of moon showing your way, trust quickly shifts out of your hands and into the balance and strength of the powerful animal below. Your trusty steed leads you between mountains, across rivers and through miles of Aspen trees to the place you have been calling home for the past 10 days. Elk camp in the Rocky Mountains is nothing short of majestic. It's a time to immerse yourself into the quiet. A time to escape. And a time to challenge your abilities to communicate with animal and nature.
