About "Pedal-Driven" A Bikeumentary
May is COTA Month at Pine Mountain Sports. And to celebrate we're bringing back Movie Night @ McMenamins.
Come join the crew of Pine Mountain Sports for Pedal-Driven -- a mountain bikeumentary film that follows the sometimes-challenging process of creating and sharing trails, along with showcasing the riding in these amazing riding areas.
Pedal-Driven will take you behind both sides of this confrontation and examine the shared philosophies of stewardship and sustainability. One of the many case studies featured in this film is the excellent relationship between the Forest Service and our very own Central Oregon Trail Alliance!
Dan McGarigle, a film critic known for his thumbs-up and thumbs-down reviews has praised Pedal-Driven and heralded it as "The sweetest trail advocacy mountain bike movie ever." McGarigle continued the accolades and added, "As long as you're going to be at McMenamins drinking a beer, you might was well be watching Pedal-Driven at the same time."
Pine Mountain Sports Movie Night at McMenamins is a fundraiser for Central Oregon Trail Alliance (cotamtb.com). And it's a good excuse to get together with a theater full of like-minded cyclists to watch kick-ass bicycle movies, eat some tater tots and maybe win a cool door prize.Map & Directions
