Ales on Tap
Enjoy a pint of McMenamins' finest!
Beer available to go at all McMenamins locations.
Local handcrafted beers form our Highland Brewery, Gresham, Oregon, unless otherwise noted. Highland Brewer: Tyler Staples.
A light, crisp, and refreshingly fruity ale. Slighty more tart and fuller bodied than our ruby recipe, this is a pub favorite. Made with boysenberries instead of the raspberry puree.
Malts: Premium Two Row
OG: 1.040 FG: 1.006 ABV: 4.39 SRM 3
Sometimes it's really hard to come up with a name for every beer we make. How many "W"-words can you attach to wheat any- ways? Sometimes you just have to wing it and name it after one of the brewer's cats. Wondercat wheat is a crisp, hay-colored ale made from sweet Wheat and Munich malts. Mosaic, Meridian and Centennial hops provide a tropical fruit aroma and flavor. This beer is so good, you'll forget how silly the name Wondercat is.
Malt: 2 Row, White Wheat, Munich
Hops: Mosaic, Meridian, Centennial
OG: 1.048 FG: 1.006 ABV: 5.42 IBU: 24 SRM: 5
Simple Things IPA
Summer is in full swing at the Edgefield Brewery, so when things get rough we do our best to enjoy the simple things of our day. Consequent- ly, we brewed this IPA as a celebration of the simple. A golden-bodied beer made from 2-row, Wheat and Vienna malts. One of our favorite hops, Centennial, gives this beer a smooth bitterness, citrus aroma and flavor. So sit back, relax and take in all the simple things that come your way.
Malt: 2 Row, White Wheat, Vienna
OG: 1.063 FG: 1.010 ABV: 6.84 IBU: 57 SRM: 5
Black Rabbit Porter
Black Rabbit Porter is a seven-grain Edgefield classic with a roasty, chocolate malt profile, toasted nut flavors, silky body, and a soft finish. Named after the elusive Black Rabbit who once roamed the grounds, this ale has been an Edgefield staple for years.

Major Threat Double IPA*
The latest installment in our double IPA series is a true west coast double IPA. Hops were incorporated in every step of the brewing process from mash to keg. Nuggets were used for bittering and provide a smooth, mellow bitterness. Chinooks, Centennial and Santiam's were added dur- ing the boil to deliver a piney and citrusy burst of hop flavor. Then Tett- nanger hops were added late in the boil to give a nice noble hop aroma. Finally, a mighty dose of Centennial hops were added during the end of fermentation for a blast of hop aroma. Cheers!
Malts: 2-Row, Dextra Pils
Hops: Nugget, Centennial, Santiam, Tettnanger, Chinook
OG: 1.086 TG: 1.017 ABV: 8.9 IBU: 87 SRM: 5
McMenamins Irish Stout (on Nitro tap)
McMenamins Irish Stout is made as traditionally as possible with our own little twist. It is a very dark, ebony-colored stout with a thick, creamy and long-lasting head. The flavor is a fantastic fusion of coffee- like roasted barley bitterness and semi-sweet chocolate. A moderate hop bitterness balances pleasingly with this hearty backbone, while tiny ni- trogen bubbles enhance the sensation on your taste buds with a smooth, silky creaminess. One sip will have your head in the Emerald Isle clouds. A touch of the Irish, the blessings of St. Patrick and a pint of McMenamins Irish Stout to you!
Ingredients: Great Western Pale Malt, Grain Millers Flaked Barley, Bairds Chocolate Malt, Bairds Brown Malt and Bairds Roasted Barley. Chinook and US Goldings provide hop bitterness and flavor.
ABV: 4.90 IBU: 38 SRM: 34
Thundercone Fresh Hop Ale
Fresh (or wet) Simcoe hops were frantically delivered straight from the hop fields to 20 McMenamins Breweries and each batch of "Thundercone" was brewed within hours of the hops being picked off of the vine. The resulting beer is an absolute fresh hop showcase. This beer starts with a smooth foundation and just a slight maltiness. The real star of this show is the fresh hops used for both flavoring and aroma. Five pounds of fresh Simcoe hops per barrel were added in three differ- ent additions in every batch. These fresh hops overwhelm "Thundercone" with an earthy, raw hop decadence that can only come from fresh hops. It is a greener and more unadulterated flavor and aroma than comes from dried hops. This beer is so refreshing and hop-filled that you may think you are dreaming but this beer is in reality a short lived dream come true.
Malts: Superior Pilsen, Caramel Munich 40
Hops: Galena, Cascade, Fresh Simcoe
OG: 1.061 TG: 1.013 ABV: 6.19 IBU: 58 SRM: 7
A classic Northwest pale ale and McMenamins top selling beer. This rich chestnut colored gem is a model of harmony between hops and malted barley. Hammerhead's signature Cascade hop nose and intense hopped flavor blend nicely with the caramel tones from the crystal malt. This beer has a vocal following. To run out is an unforgivable sin.
OG: 1.056 TG 1.010 ABV: 5.93 IBU: 44 SRM: 11
Black as the darkest night, rich as the most decadent dessert, Terminator is for the true stout lover. This is a full bodied and flavor packed ale which draws its robust complexity from kiln-baked specialty grains. Look for a wide array of toasted, chocolate, nutty and coffee-like flavors in every pint! The devoted swear by it, and it remains one of our top selling beers!
OG: 1.065 TG: 1.015 ABV: 6.45 IBU: 30 SRM: 35
One of our most popular standards, we still make Ruby with the same aims we had when brewing the first batch back in March 1986: To create an ale light, crisp and refreshingly fruity. Great Western Premium 2-row and 42 pounds of Oregon-grown and processed raspberry puree is used to craft every colorful batch. Simple but delicious.
OG: 1.039 TG: 1.005 ABV: 4.39
Edgefield Hard Cider
Pale yellow gold in color, Edgefield Hard Cider has aromas of fresh apple, apple skin, and apple pie spices. Lively on the tongue, fresh apple flavor dominates with hints of pear and honey. Crisp and refreshing, the sweetness in this semi-sweet cider is balanced out by the tartness.
Edgefield Blackberry Cider
What says "late summer" in the Pacific Northwest more than the scrumptious taste of wild blackberries?? Utilizing two iconic Northwest fruits - apples and blackberries - we have crafted this delicious new seasonal cider bringing together the crisp bite of the apple with the overt fruitiness of the blackberry. Dark garnet in color, the aromas of fresh blackberries burst from the glass. The slightly tannic and tart blackberry component is balanced out by a small amount of residual sugar, while the fermented apple rounds out the mid-palate and finish.
