Sleepy Hollow Nut Brown Ale

Sleepy Hollow Nut Brown
It’s the time of year to start savoring the potion of your choice to warm the bones and soothe the soul. And one can’t think of anything better than the McMenamins classic seasonal brew, Sleepy Hollow Nut Brown. This longtime favorite has a chestnut color and medium body that will cast an otherworldly spell over you. The complex malt character, well balanced with Chinook and US Golding hops, will have you walking in a continual reverie. Legend has it that Ichabod Crane downed a few Nut Brown Ales listening to local ghost tales and scary legends at the Van Tassel merry-making party before his fateful trip home. Be watchful and clear-headed on your way home lest you begin to grow fanciful, see shapes and shadows in the night and hear things in the howling wind. It may just be your imagination running away with you or it very well may be the Headless Horseman on his fire-breathing black stallion following you!
Malts: Pale Ale, Flaked Barley, Munich, C15 & C120 Crystal, Chocolate, Roast
Hops: Chinook, US Golding
OG: 1.050  TG: 1.011  ABV: 5.03  IBU: 15  SRM: 18

Locomotivator - This German Lager style was considered liquid bread by the monks of Saint Francis of Paula, who were the first to brew Doppelbock in Munich in 1634. Locomotivator is a dark brown Doppelbock that features a rich malty flavor that dominates the subtle continental hop character. Fermented cool with Bohemian Lager Yeast, it is smooth and strong, somewhat sweet and full-bodied. Slightly toasty with a hint of chocolate, Locomotivator is a meal in a glass.
Malts: Best Munich, Best Pilsen, Baird's Crystal 135-165L, Baird's Chocolate, Briess Blackprinz
Hops: Nugget, Tettnanger, Sterling
OG: 1.080 TG: 1.020 ABV: 7.74% IBU: 18 SRM: 25

Wolverine IPA
The seldom seen wolverine goes by many names: "Skunk-Bear","Indian devil", and "Glutton", to name a few. Despite its unassuming appearance, the wolverine is an aggressive and surprisingly strong animal. Likewise these descriptors are appro- priate for "Wolverine", the ale. Wolverine is a deep golden, strong India Pale Ale brewed with lots of pale malt, a bit of rye malt and copi- ous quantities of Amarillo, Centennial and Nugget hops. Despite its inviting appearance, Wolverine is bold and aggressive with a fierce bite (7.6% alcohol). So be sure to try it while you can because the Wolver- ine is very elusive and won't be around for long.
Malts: Pale Ale malt and Rye malt
Hops: Nugget, Centennial, Amarillo, Falconer’s Flight 7C’s (dry hop)
OG: 1.068  TG: 1.009  ABV: 7.61%  IBU: 72  SRM: 5

McMenamins Irish Stout

On Nitro Tap:
McMenamins Irish Stout
This is our Halfway to Saint Patrick’s Day Seasonal and will pour exclusively on our nitro taps for the occasion. McMenamins Irish Stout is our interpretation of the internationally renowned beer style that originated in Ireland. McMenamins Irish Stout is made as traditionally as possible with our own little twist. It is a very dark, ebony-colored stout with a thick, creamy and long-lasting head. The flavor is a fantastic fusion of coffee-like roasted barley bitterness and semi-sweet chocolate. A moderate hop bitterness balances pleasingly with this hearty backbone, while tiny nitrogen bubbles enhance the sensation on your taste buds with a smooth, silky creaminess. One sip will have your head in the Emerald Isle clouds. A touch of the Irish, the blessings of St. Patrick and a pint of McMenamins Irish Stout to you!

Edgefield Pomegranate Cider
The pomegranate cider is one of the founding blends of our seasonal cider program – pomegranate cider was our second ever seasonal cider, first released in July 2013. This release will be its third appearance, and it is expected to remain on tap until the end of April (to be followed by cherry cider).

Our pomegranate cider is crafted with those unexpectedly gorgeous winter sunny days and the warming weather in mind. The tartness of the pome- granate is balanced with the crispness and sweetness of the apple, making for a refreshing quaff rain or shine..
ABV: 6.5%
