Doc Burnsy’s Nutritional Stout
Nutritional (or “milk”) stouts are full-bodied stouts brewed with milk sugars. These stouts were once the recommended drink for nursing women because the milk sugars remain instead of being converted to alcohol, providing a lower alcohol-to-calorie ratio.
