Black Widow Porter
Originally created at the Thompson Brewery over 20 years ago on October 15, 1991 and made once a year by all Thompson Brewers to come after that, Black Widow has become an expected and welcome Halloween treat at the Thompson Public House in Salem. This year, however, Black Widow’s web has enveloped the entire company, as every McMenamins brewery made a batch this year. Each deep-black goblet of Black Widow is packed full of the robust notes afforded by generous amounts of black and roast malts and further spirited with ethereal wisps of caramel and licorice. Both substantial and sublime, this elixir is sure to slake the most fiendish of thirsts.

Here is another Northwest-style India pale ale packed with plenty of hoppy goodness. Four big high alpha acid hops, Chinook, Centennial, Simcoe and Nuggets were blended together to offer a full spectrum of flavor from citrusy grapefruit to resinous pine. Cheers.

Sleepy Hollow Nut Brown
This longtime favorite has a chestnut color and medium body that will cast an otherworldly spell over you. The complex malt character, well balanced with Chinook and US Golding hops, will have you walking in a continual reverie. Legend has it that Ichabod Crane downed a few Nut Brown Ales listening to local ghost tales and scary legends at the Van Tassel merry-making party before his fateful trip home. Be watchful and clear-headed on your way home lest you begin to grow fanciful, see shapes and shadows in the night and hear things in the howling wind. It may just be your imagination running away with you or it very well may be the Headless Horseman on his fire-breathing black stallion following you!
Malts: Pale Ale, Flaked Barley, Munich, C15 & C120 Crystal, Chocolate and Roast
Hops: Nugget and US Golding
OG: 1.050 ABV: 5.03 IBU: 17 SRM: 18
This hazy, deep golden ale was made with over 50% wheat which adds a soft grain flavor. A German ale yeast was used to create clean lager like characteristics and also adds to its haze. The slightly spicy herbal flavor of Sterling hops work to balance out the overall flavor profile.
Malts: Briess Red Wheat, 2 Row barley, Superior Pislner, Crystal 15
Hops: Nugget, Sterling ABV: 5% IBU: 26 SRM: 4
This golden hued ale uses Cascade hops in modest amounts to create a subtle flavor and bitterness. It is named after SW Nebraska Street, the street that the Fulton Pub and Brewery is located, and where it was first brewed.
Malts: Premium Two Row, Crystal 40L
Hops: Cascade ABV: 4.52 IBU: 20 SRM: 4

Chunkin’ Pumpkin Porter
Named for the sport of launching pumpkins 4000 ft. in the air. Over 80 pounds of purreed pumpkin was added to this brew, along with some spices to create the taste of pumpkin pie. Roasted barley is used to create a deep brown color. A medium bodied porter, perfect to warm you up as we transfer into cooler fall days.
Malts: GWM Pale Ale, Munich, Briess BlackPrinz, Pumpkin
Hops: Chinook, Golding
OG: 1.050 ABV: 5.03 IBU: 18 SRM: 26
Double Hop Solo
John Barleycorns Brewery • Tim Proctor
Chinook hops are the only hop to make an appearance in this single hopped Double IPA. A slightly sweet malt flavor is dominated by Chinook hops and all of their glory, slightly spicy, piney flavors and distinct tones of grapefruit.
Malts: Gambrinus ESB Malt, Briess Bonlander Munich
OG: 1.081 ABV: 8.77 IBU: 78 SRM: 8
A classic Northwest pale ale and McMenamins top selling beer. This rich chestnut colored gem is a model of harmony between hops and malted barley. Hammerhead's signature Cascade hop nose and intense hopped flavor blend nicely with the caramel tones from the crystal malt. This beer has a vocal following. To run out is an unforgivable sin.
Malts: Premium 2-row Malt and 75L Crystal Malt
Hops: Cascade ABV: 5.93 IBU: 44 SRM: 11
Black as the darkest night, rich as the most decadent dessert, Terminator is for the true stout lover. Look for a wide array of toasted, chocolate, nutty and coffee-like flavors in every pint! The devoted swear by it, and it remains one of our top selling ales year after year.

One of our most popular standards, we still make Ruby with the same aims we had when brewing the first batch back in March 1986: to create an ale that is light, crisp and refreshingly fruity. Great Western Premium 2-row and 42 pounds of Oregon-grown and processed raspberry puree is used to craft every colorful batch. Simple yet delicious. Taste the original!
