Edgefield Extra 2013 Barley Wine
The Extra’s roots go back nearly to the very beginning of the brewery’s founding in 1991. It’s been more than twenty years since, but now it has returned as Edgefield’s barleywine and strongest offering at nearly 9.5%. This Extra is a traditional English barleywine that is huge on Maris Otter malt character and brimming with graham cracker and toffee flavors. This special link between the past and present has been one of our brewers’ favorite technical challenges to make and is a beer that promises to age extremely well. We at Edgefield hope you enjoy it for years to come.
OG: 1.100 TG: 1.027 ABV: 9.42 IBU: 50 SRM: 16
Red Riser IRA
Made from the finest malted barley, along with some rye malt, this red giant is hopped with a heavenly blend of aromatic hop varieties. The glorious garnet hue illuminates the way to a wonderfully complex blend of malt flavors. The citrusy floral hop notes hit the nose in a prophetic burst of awareness that something wonderful is to follow. So enjoy the season and warm up with a pint of Red Riser IRA while you can.
OG: 1.069 TG: 1.015 ABV: 6.95 IBU: 98 SRM: 14
Black Rabbit Porter
Black Rabbit Porter is a seven-grain Edgefield classic with a roasty, chocolate malt profile, toasted nut flavors, silky body, and a soft finish. Named after the elusive Black Rabbit who once roamed the grounds, this ale has been an Edgefield staple for years.
OG: 1.056 TG: 1.014 ABV: 5.55 IBU: 14 SRM: 34
Major Threat DIPA
The latest installment in our double IPA series is a true west coast double IPA. Hops were incorporated in every step of the brewing process from mash to keg. Horizons were used for bittering and provide a smooth, mellow bitterness. Simcoe and Centennial were added late in the boil to deliver a piney and citrusy burst of hop flavor. Finally, a mighty dose pf Amarillo hops were added during fermentation for a blast of hop aroma. Cheers!
Malts: 2-Row, Munich, Rolled Oats
Hops: Chinook, Centennial, Simcoe, Amarillo, Cascade
OG: 1.084 TG: 1.021 ABV: 8.13 IBU: 94 SRM: 7
Buzz Words: Hoppy, High Gravity, Aggressive
Meet Devil’s Bitter. Shining like sun on sand, this crisp ale has a bright, fresh nose courtesy of a bountiful late addition of Golding hops. The flavor is brisk but balanced, favoring bready complexity over malt sweetness. This spring, as you await our annual release of Devils Bit Whiskey, raise a pint of Devil’s Bitter and toast the power of nature and its delicious bounty.
OG: 1.053 TG: 1.010 ABV: 5.55 IBU: 32 SRM: 4
Buzz Words: Bright, Clean, Sprightly
Flatlands Wheat is an American Wit with a twist! Coriander and orange peel were thrown into the boil just before flame off to give a spicy, citrusy aroma. Willamette hops were sparingly used, giving off a woody, spicy hop flavor. The hop presence doesn’t overpower the winter wheat that comes straight from the flatlands. Golden in color with a nice citrusy flavor, this ale is sure to quench.
OG: 1.044 TG: 1.006 ABV: 4.90 IBU: 22 SRM: 4
Brother Hickory IPA
Brother Hickory rides again! Loaded with Simcoe and Chinook hops, this ale delivers a blast of pine and spice up front, and hints of citrus layered in the backend. Its crystal rye and oat malts contribute a pleasant malt complexity.
OG: 1.065 TG: 1.013 ABV: 6.71 IBU: 80 SRM: 11
Glory Boy Cascadian Dark Lager
This black India lager is a hoppy, dark beer that doesn’t give a damn about beer styles. It is a tribute to the brewer who sticks ten kinds of exotic fruits and spices in one tiny batch of beer and ferments it with the rarest Mesopotamian yeast. It’s a beer for the brewer who refuses to be bound by technical guidelines or tradition and seeks greatness through a Trappist style Belgian quintuppel aged on Norwegian wood in a humidor kept next to a crate full of poblano chiles. This is a beer for the brewer or brewery we all know and love; keep pushing the boundaries, Glory Boy.
OG: 1.060 TG: 1.014 ABV: 5.93 IBU: 71 SRM: 26
Over The Counter Pilsner
Just what the doctor ordered! Pilsners are generally light colored, clean flavored beers with a distinct hop aroma and this beer is no exception. The primary difference is that we’ve kicked the hops up just a tick with some American Simcoes that really shine through the light, smooth flavor of Pilsner malt. You don’t need a prescription for this beer, but it will cure what ails you anyway.
OG: 1.055 TG: 1.009 ABV: 5.93 IBU: 48 SRM: 3
A classic Northwest pale ale, its signature Cascade hop nose and intense hopped flavor blend nicely with the caramel tones from the crystal malt.
OG: 1.056 TG 1.010 ABV: 5.93 IBU: 44 SRM: 11
A simple yet deliciously light raspberry ale…taste the original!
OG: 1.039 TG: 1.005 ABV: 4.39
This is a full bodied and flavor packed stout which draws its robust complexity from kiln-baked specialty grains.
