Mort’s Mild (nitro)
In our current beer culture of double and triple strength brews, some may scoff at the humble mild. Yet this style of ale was culturally engineered by British brewers for working class pub-goers, to be drunk by the gallon, from clock off until last call. Low in strength but rich in roast, almond, toffee, and chocolate flavors, you’ll find this silky pint pleasantly balanced with its slight hop bite. Named for infamous Edgefield dock-sale customer, Mort Muldoon, who once said that strong pints make for early bedtimes. Join Mort to hear the chimes at midnight! Make yours a mild.

El Jefe Hefeweizen
Just in time for the summer heat, Edgefield releases their version of a Traditional German Hefeweizen. This beer has a beautiful golden haziness with subtle hints of banana in the finish. This is a one-off batch beer being served for a limited time. Enjoy it while it lasts!
Malts: Best Pilsen Malt, Wheat Malt, Briess Red Wheat Malt
OG: 1.045 TG: 1.010 ABV: 4.51 IBU: 7 SRM: 3
Petite Amie French Saison
This lively, delicate beer is packed full of subtle spicy aromatics and flavor thanks both to the unique French saison yeast used in fermentation and the peppercorn medley added during brewing. Our ‘little friend’ is light-bodied, orange hued, and has both enough hop character to be an excellent summer thirst quencher and enough complexity to hold your interest for several servings.
Malts: Pilsner Malt, Unmalted Wheat, Caramel Vienna Malt
Hops: Crystal Spices: Pink, White, Black, and Green Peppercorns
OG: 1.048 TG: 1.005 ABV: 5.55 IBU: 21 SRM: 7
Buzz Words: Light, Dry, Delicious
Barley Legal Barleywine
This powerful ale is wanted in all 50 states, but only available at McMenamins. Barley Legal is an English style barleywine that’s fled from justice to the colonies and attempted to deceive authorities by loading up on American hops. The suspect has even gone so far as to disguise its aroma with a big dry hop addition of Simcoe hops. Be advised, suspect is delicious.
Malts: Baird’s Maris Otter Pale Malt, Briess Barley Flakes, Gambrinus Honey Malt
Hops: Simcoe, Brewer’s Gold, Delta, Santiam, Centennial
OG: 1.092 TG: 1.022 ABV: 9.03 IBU: 99 SRM: 9
Buzz Words: Strong, Hop-Forward, Dangerous
From Troutdale With Love IPA
Big, smooth and eminently enjoyable. This IPA is chock-full of citrusy bright flavor, and won’t blow your palate up with an abundance of bitterness. An assortment of light crystal malts and a healthy dose of Vienna round out the malt bill to create a soft, sweet counterpoint to the fullness of the hop character derived from an overloaded late-boil series of additions. Enjoy. Love, Troutdale.
Malts: Premium Two-Row, Vienna, Wheat, Crystal 60L, Caramel Munich
Hops: Zeus, Cascade, Centennial, Chinook
OG: 1.065 TG: 1.015 ABV: 6.45 IBU: 77 SRM: 9
Buzz Words: Citrus, Solid
Named for the three “greenhorn” seasonal brewers that the Edgefield acquires every summer, this ale is meant to satisfy after a hard day’s work of cleaning kegs and scrubbing floors. You’ll notice a delicate hop presence, bitter but not overwhelming with citrus notes. The light malt body makes for easy drinking. Give a toast or say a prayer for our greenhorns…they need it!
Malts: Premium Two-Row, Red Wheat, Flaked Barley, Vienna
Hops: Brewer’s Gold, Golding, Amarillo
OG: 1.040 TG: 1.004 ABV: 4.64 IBU: 28 SRM: 3
Major Threat V Double IPA
This Major Threat is the fifth batch of our popular double IPA. The latest brew is a credit to its hop-packed lineage and sports roughly 2.5 pounds of fresh, whole cone hops per luscious barrel. The resulting amber colored monster is a juicy hop bomb with a complex grapefruit nose and a killer piney after-bitter that will surely sate even the most ardent hop addict’s appetite.
Malts: 2-Row, Vienna, C-40, Red Wheat
Hops: Chinook, Simcoe, Amarillo, Centennial, Cascade
OG: 1.083 TG: 1.023 ABV: 7.74 IBU: 72 SRM: 6
Buzz Words: Hoppy, High Gravity, Aggressive
Black Rabbit Porter
Black Rabbit Porter is a semi-sweet ale with a roasty chocolate malt profile. This ale is defined by toasted nut flavors and a sweeter, softer finish than McMenamins' Terminator Stout. Named after the elusive Black Rabbit who roamed freely on the grounds of the Edgefield Manor, this ale has been an Edgefield staple for years.
Malts: Premium 2-row Malt, 75oL Crystal Malt and Chocolate Malt
Hops: Chinook, Tettnang and Golding
OG: 1.057 TG: 1.014 ABV: 5.55 IBU: 14 SRM: 34
Buzz Words: Chocolate, Smooth, Dark
A classic Northwest pale ale and McMenamins top selling beer. This rich chestnut colored gem is a model of harmony between hops and malted barley. Hammerhead's signature Cascade hop nose and intense hopped flavor blend nicely with the caramel tones from the crystal malt. This beer has a vocal following, and to run out is an unforgivable sin.
Malts: Premium 2-row Malt and 75oL Crystal Malt
OG: 1.056 TG 1.010 ABV: 5.93 IBU: 44 SRM: 11
Buzz Words: Hoppy, Amber, Caramel
One of our most popular standards, we still make Ruby with the same aims we had when brewing the first batch back in March 1986, to create a light, crisp and refreshingly fruity ale. Great Western Premium 2-row and 252 pounds of Oregon-grown and processed raspberry puree is used to craft every colorful batch. Simple yet delicious, taste the original!
Malt: Premium 2-row Malt
OG: 1.039 TG: 1.005 ABV: 4.39
Buzz Words: Raspberry, light, refreshing
Black as the darkest night, rich as the most decadent dessert, Terminator is for the true stout lover. This is a full bodied and flavor packed ale which draws its robust complexity from kiln-baked specialty grains. Look for a wide array of toasted, chocolate, nutty and coffee-like flavors in every pint! The devoted swear by it, and it remains one of our top selling ales year after year.
Malts: Premium 2-row Malt, Munich Malt, 40oL Crystal and Black Barley
