Copper Moon has a bit more malt quality and hop character than most other summer seasonals, giving rise to a refreshing, flavorful beer style that we like to identify as a Summer Pale Ale. A flavorsome yet summery smooth sweetness is the first thing you’ll taste. The hop flavor and aroma intermingle delightfully to generate a dazzling citrusy, floral and slightly spicy olfactory experience. There’s a Copper Moon risin’ again this summer across McMenamins, make sure that you check it out.

A light, crisp, and refreshingly fruity ale. Slightly more tart and fuller bodied than our ruby recipe, this is a pub favorite. Made with boysenberries instead of the raspberry puree.

We decided to kick it up a notch with this IPA. Bringing it to the next level are citra and mosaic hops added late in the boil for a blast of hop flavor and aroma. On top of all that we recirculated the finished product through 25 pounds of new, experimental hop varietals for 10 straight hours. We hope you enjoy this new, exciting hop experiment.

Spontaneous Generation Berliner Weisse
In the middle ages, thinkers theorized that life – if given the proper conditions – could spring up from lifeless matter spontaneously. For this beer, we’ve recreated the magic of spontaneous generation by storing our wort in the brew kettle overnight and adding lactobacillus to sour the liquid. From the lifeless wort, a tart, tasty, light Summer wheat has sprung forth with centuries of brewing tradition behind it.

Bagdad Single Hop Series:
Bagdad Ale is a benchmark beer for McMenamins, inspired by the Pilsner style. The Single Hop Series Bagdad was designed as an educational exercise for both our brewers and for our guests. Brewer’s Gold hops are sharp and pungent- replete with blackcurrant and spice characteristics. This series will be going A-Z until we’ve exhausted all the possibilities! Enjoy the ride with us.

Black Rabbit Porter
Black Rabbit Porter is a seven-grain Edgefield classic with a roasty, chocolate malt profile, toasted nut flavors, silky body, and a soft finish. Named after the elusive Black Rabbit who once roamed the grounds, this ale has been an Edgefield staple for years.

Major Threat DIPA
The latest installment in our double IPA series is a true west coast double IPA. We blasted this brew with nine different hop varieties to showcase a wide range of hop flavor and aroma, from citrusy and tropical to earth and spice notes. We then dry-hopped the batch post-fermentation with Zythos hop pellets to really put it over the top. Sit back and enjoy.

El Jefe Hefeweizen
Just in time for the summer heat, Edgefield releases their version of a traditional German Hefeweizen. This beer has a beautiful golden haziness with subtle hints of banana in the finish. This is a one-off batch beer being served for a limited time. Enjoy it while it lasts!

On Nitro Tap:
Easy Days ESB
Our American style ESB is everything you’d expect. The toasty-roasty British specialty malts are balanced by spicy Crystal and Yakima Valley Golding hops. Pouring silky smooth from the nitro tap, this ale makes a great companion for a summer pub session.

Gaspard’s Grove Peach Ale
This funky, fruity, slightly tart beer is named for Gaspard “the ‘D’ is silent” Bauhin, a Swiss botanist who classified thousands of different species of plants. Among them, you may have guessed, was the peach. We used over 330 pounds of peach puree, 5 pounds of orange peel, and a big late addition of limited Mosaic hops to make this next-level fruit beer shine. This beer is best enjoyed with your trusty copy of Pinax theatri botanici and a solid understanding of binomial nomenclature.

A classic Northwest pale ale, its signature Cascade hop nose and intense hopped flavor blend nicely with the caramel tones from the crystal malt.

Edgefield Hard Apple Cider
Locally grown apples are juiced and fermented into a light, crisp and refreshing hard cider.
Edgefield Pomegranate Hard Apple Cider
A blend of pomegranate and apple juice, the subtle pomegranate flavors blend nicely with those from the apple, bringing a bit of astringency and color to the mix. A bit sweeter than our standard hard cider, the Pomegranate Cider balances this sweetness with natural acidity and carbonation.
