Ale & Cider on Tap
This is a beer to showcase the Mosaic hop. 11 pounds of this coveted hop strain were used in the brew. An offspring of the wildly popular Simcoe hop, Mosaics display an incredibly fresh, pineapple aroma and flavor. The bitterness of the beer comes from a pound and a half of Nugget hops. I wanted to use as much of the 11 pound box of Mosaics I have been saving for the flavor and aroma additions as I could. Mosaics are the most tropical, passion fruit, pineapple flavored hop I have ever tasted. The Mosaics are in very short supply right now as they are one of the newer hops on the market. This brand of IPA has been very popular and won't be around for long. Enjoy!!

A light, crisp and refreshingly fruity ale made with boysenberries. Purple Haze is very lightly hopped to allow the berry flavor to shine. Slightly more tart and fuller bodied than our Ruby recipe, this is a pub favorite.

Buzz words: Fruity, Tart, Refreshing
The first thing you'll notice about Copper Moon is the coppery orange luminescence radiating out of the pint glass. This comes from the special combination of three different Organic malts in every batch. Those Organic malts also impart a flavorsome yet summery smooth sweetness that quenches your thirst at the same time as tantalizing your taste buds. The upfront hop bitterness of Copper Moon is relatively low, complementing the malts nicely without being overpowering. The hop flavor and aroma are another matter, as the Centennial and Sterling hops used in the latter stages of each batch intermingle delightfully to generate a dazzling citrusy, flowery and slightly spicy olfactory experience. All these things blend into a refreshing, flavorful and organic Summer Pale Ale. There's a Copper Moon risin' again this summer across McMenamins; make sure that you check it out.

Painted Hills Wheat
Named and inspired after Oregon’s very own Painted Hills, this refreshing American Wheat Ale is light bodied with notable Wheat and Crystal malt flavors, and modestly hopped for balance. I also added 5# of sweet Spanish orange peel which accents the citrus in your beer. Try it with a wedge of lemon or as the brewer prefers a wedge of orange.

Bike Commute Barley Wine

Bike Commute Barley Wine is the first offering of this style from Oak Hills since I started brewing here in 2012. I only filled the kettle up half way to make this style. Less liquid means a higher octane product. The Bike Commute comes in at 10 percent and has a dark, complex malt flavor. Raisin and Oak flavors highlight this strong ale. Served in an 8 oz. Goblet, the Bike Commute is a slow sipping Delicacy.

Jam Session ISA
Spring is in full bloom and its song plays the soundtrack to a beautiful season. Wanting to add our instrument to the collaboration, the McMenamins brewers were inspired to produce Jam Session ISA, a light and easy drinking beer that embodies the spirit of spring as it fades into summer. Being an India style, expect our quartet of hops to be the front man of this band, providing strong riffs of floral and pine and a beat of citrus. A majority of the hops is added in late additions, which provides full flavors and aromas without the bittering astringency. Whether you're a hard-rockin' IPA drinker or a classical golden ale drinker, you'll find the essence and song of the season in every pint. This McMenamins classic has taken on a transformation out here on the Westside. This is a stronger more full flavored interpretation of the original. This version is more of an English style Pale. The Munich and Vienna malt provide a slightly toasted malt character, while the Willamette and Sterling hops add spice and floral qualities. This beer finishes smooth with just a touch of sweetness.

The presidential porter was brewed the day that President Obama was visiting the Nike complex in the lovely town of Beaverton. I figure being President is a really complicated job.... almost as complex as the mash bill that went into making this beer. Lightly hoped, the Presidential Porter is all about the many malts working together side by side. If only our government could blend as seamlessly together as malted barley in a classic American Porter...

Stormy Sky IPA (Nitro Tap)
This is an IPA quite opposite of what you would typically see at Oak Hills. It's Darker in color and more earthy and spicy in hop flavor. Being drawn out of the nitro tap, gives it a soft, velvety mouth feel. With our weather starting to turn towards winter, I wanted an IPA to represent the season. The Stormy Sky is a much more malt driven beer than the dryer, more summer like Diamond Head IPA. Weather you embrace the winter with Stormy Sky, or dream of summer with the Diamond Head, raise a glass of IPA!!

Strawberry Short Cake Ale (Nitro Tap)
Growing up, my Dad always requested Strawberry shortcake for his April 14th Birthday. So for April's special beer tasting, I have made the beer version of Dads favorite dessert. Victory malt gives the beer a bready shortcake flavor. Strawberry puree and fresh vanilla beans round out this decadent treat. The addition of Lactose and being on the Nitro tap adds a velvety, smooth mouthfeel. Happy Birthday Dad!

Omission Pale Ale (Gluten Free Beer)
Bold and hoppy, Omission Pale Ale is a hop-forward American Pale Ale, brewed to showcase the cascade hop profile. Amber in color, Omission Pale Ale’s floral aroma is complimented by caramel malt body, making for a delicious gluten-free craft beer.

Plazm Farmhouse Ale (Guest Tap)
Fort George Brewery and the Commons collaborated on this beer celebrating yeast. Fruity esters, clean floral hops and a light malt character make this a nice light bodied spring beer,
A classic Northwest pale ale and McMenamins top selling beer. This rich chestnut colored gem is a model of harmony between hops and malted barley. Hammerhead's signature Cascade hop nose and intense hopped flavor blend nicely with the caramel tones from the crystal malt. This beer has a vocal following. To run out is an unforgivable sin.

Black as the darkest night, rich as the most decadent dessert, Terminator is for the true stout lover. This is a full bodied and flavor packed ale which draws its robust complexity from kiln-baked specialty grains. One of our most popular standards, we still make Ruby with the same aims we had when brewing the first batch back in March 1986: To create an ale light, crisp and refreshingly fruity. Great Western Premium 2-row and 42 pounds of Oregon-grown and processed raspberry puree is used to craft every colorful batch. Simple but delicious. Taste the original!

Edgefield Hard Apple Cider
Locally grown apples are juiced and fermented into a light, crisp and refreshing hard cider.
The inspiration to create a dry cherry cider came directly from a poster drawn and donated by a loyal customer many years ago, that hangs at our cornerstone establishment, the Barley Mill Pub. We then allow the juice to ferment totally dry and just before filtering added a generous addition of Dark Cherry Juice for sweetening, color and flavor. The dark garnet color presents a deep cheery nose followed by a hint of fresh apples, in the mouth the cider has prominent cherry flavors and rounded sweetness.
