Spring is in full bloom and its song plays the soundtrack to a beautiful season. Wanting to add our instrument to the collaboration, the McMenamins brewers were inspired to produce Jam Session ISA, a light and easy drinking beer that embodies the spirit of spring as it fades into summer. Being an India style, expect our quartet of hops to be the front man of this band, providing strong riffs of floral and pine and a beat of citrus. A majority of the hops is added in late additions, which provides full flavors and aromas without the bittering astringency. Whether you’re a hard-rockin’ IPA drinker or a classical golden ale drinker, you’ll find the essence and song of the season in every pint. Enjoy a Jam Session ISA and turn the volume of your day up to 11. A one, a two, a one, two, three, Cheers!

Isle of The Unicorn Scotch Ale (High Gravity)
A magical creature runs about a green isle with a whimsy and grace! This Scotch Ale was named after the Unicorn for its very own unique and graceful presence. A highly malt based beer, the Unicorn starts out with a sweet ease and rounds with a full flavor. Slight caramel and hints of roasted malts dominate the quaff. A low hop flavor counters the malt but does not overcome the malt character of this beer. A full bodied drink gives way to the magical finish that you wish could be an all day experience!

The Kaleidoscope became a favorite here at OSF last Summer. It is a very unique and thoroughly tasty beverage! Made with a plethora of Mosaic hops, which give this drink its distinctive qualities. Highly citrus hop flavors with touches of pineapple and mango give the aroma and flavor of this IPA a nice blend. A medium to mild malt body allows more of the hops to persist throughout the drink. A tasty collage of an IPA is among us and it paints your tongue with a hoppy mosaic of flavor!!

Pragmatically speaking we tried to make the newest pale ale as close to traditional standards as we could. With a mild body and dark golden hue this beer screams out a no-nonsense quaff. Then throw in the logical hop choices that typically make up pale ales just in the milder tone as compared to the bigger hopped up IPAs. Yet the Pragmatic Pale stands its ground with all around balance and flavor that brings you to the logical and practical conclusion: A darn good beer!!

This American Wheat ale has all the basics for a great tasting wheat beer. Clean crisp body and a mellow hop flavor with a touch of malt chewiness. To put a unique twist on this beer we added Wild Chamomile flowers to enhance the flowery aromatics and herbal flavor. This enhances the overall mellow sensation that a wheat beer can be about. A wonderful combination to a sipping wheat beer!!

A classic Northwest pale ale. This rich chestnut colored gem is a model of harmony between hops and malted barley. Hammerhead's signature Cascade hop nose and intense hopped flavor blend nicely with the caramel tones from the crystal malt.

One of our most popular standards, we still make Ruby with the same aims we had when brewing the first batch back in March 1986: To create an ale light, crisp and refreshingly fruity. Great Western Premium 2-row and 42 pounds of Oregon-grown and processed raspberry puree is used to craft every colorful batch.

Immigrant Irish Red
Immigrant Irish Red is a mellow and easy drinking beer for the all to enjoy. This Irish Red is made with the founding priests of Old St Francis School in mind. A beer to remind them of the ales they enjoyed back home. Earthy hops blend and balance well with the slight sweet malt flavor. A medium body yet has a complex flavor which allows you to sip on through the longer days that Spring brings!

Black as the darkest night, rich as the most decadent dessert, Terminator is for the true stout lover. This is a full bodied and flavor packed ale which draws its robust complexity from kiln-baked specialty grains. The Educator Dopplebock
The Educator is a bold flavored Bock style beer. Caramel malt flavors accentuate the malt complex. A complete mellow hop flavor is present throughout the drink. Smooth and bright from a conditioning period of over 30 days gives a nice crispness. The full body and sweeter character tests every taste bud to insure their satisfaction! A great quaff after a long day of grading papers or to roam the halls and sip with friends. Whatever you do make sure you educate yourself!!

Black Zombie Porter
Ever wonder what a brewer looks like after a full day of work? That’s right, a zombie. This medium to full bodied porter has a mild roast feel backed up by a nice chocolate flavor. A chewy mouthfeel and light malty bitterness blends well with the hops. Smooth and easy, unlike a Zombie’s walk, is what jumps out at you. An overall scary drink! A beer that will fulfill any person’s thirst or give you the blank stare of a Zombie!

Bulldog English Mild
The Bulldog English Mild is just what the name suggests: Mild as well as an English style beer. Mellow malt flavors, low in hop characteristics and a dry finish are what make this beer what it is. Slight tones of caramel malt meld well with the fruity and earthy hop flavor and bitterness. A thick creamy head leaves a nice lacing on the glass as you easily sip this quaffable ale. The Bulldog won’t bite much, yet it is worth every taste!

Edgefield Hard Apple Cider
Locally grown apples are juiced and fermented into a light, crisp and refreshing hard cider.
Edgefield Perry – 100% Pear Hard Cider
Just as “hard apple cider” is fermented apples, “perry” is fermented pears. We started with a freshly pressed blend 82% Bartlett and 18% Anjou pears, and feremented this to dryness. Pears, unlike apples and grapes, contain a higher percentage of unfermentable sugars (mainly sorbitol), so the finished fermentation contains a higher level of sweetness from these residual sugars. To balance out the acidity, additional fresh-pressed pear juice was also blended back into the fermented perry.
