Jam Session ISA
Spring is in full bloom and its song plays the soundtrack to a beautiful season. Wanting to add our instrument to the collaboration, the McMenamins brewers were inspired to produce Jam Session ISA, a light and easy drinking beer that embodies the spirit of spring as it fades into summer. Being an India style, expect our quartet of hops to be the front man of this band, providing strong riffs of floral and pine and a beat of citrus. A majority of the hops is added in late additions, which provides full flavors and aromas without the bittering astringency. Whether you’re a hard-rockin’ IPA drinker or a classical golden ale drinker, you’ll find the essence and song of the season in every pint. Enjoy a Jam Session ISA and turn the volume of your day up to 11. A one, a two, a one, two, three, Cheers!

OG: 1.047 TG: 1.010 ABV: 4.77 IBU: 51 SRM: 4
A light, crisp, and refreshingly fruity ale. Slighty more tart and fuller bodied than our ruby recipe, this is a pub favorite. Made with boysenberries instead of the raspberry puree.

OG: 1.040 TG: 1.006 ABV: 4.39 SRM 3
On Nitro Tap:
McMenamins Irish Stout
Irish eyes will be smiling with the arrival of our Saint Patrick’s Day Seasonal that will pour exclusively on our ‘nitro’ taps for the entire month of March. It is a very dark, ebony-colored stout with a thick, creamy and long-lasting head. The flavor is a fantastic fusion of coffee-like roasted barley bitterness and semi-sweet chocolate. A moderate hop bitterness balances pleasingly with this hearty backbone, while tiny nitrogen bubbles enhance the sensation on your taste buds with a smooth, silky creaminess. One sip will have your head in the Emerald Isle clouds.
Malts: Pale Malt, Flaked Barley, Brown Malt, Chocolate Malt, Roasted Barley
Hops: Chinook, US Golding
OG: 1.045 TG: 1.007 ABV: 4.90 IBU: 39 SRM: 32
Buzz Words: Dry, creamy, robust
By the power of Grayskull, an India Pale Ale was born. Not only was this IPA good, it was the most delicious in all of Eternia. With its crisp, clean taste, and just the right amount of northwest hops, it’s no wonder that the evil Skeletor has focused in on trying to steal the secrets of the He-Man IPA. But, most of you have no idea what I am talking about, and that is fine. You see, I don’t have cable, and He-Man comes on every night right before my bed time.
Malts: NW Pale Ale, Goldpils Vienna, Oat Flakes and Victory
Hops: Chinook, Citra, and Mosaic
OG: 1.061 TG: 1.010 ABV: 6.58 IBU: 90 SRM: 7
Unfrozen Caveman Porter
Ladies and gentlemen, I used to be a caveman, and now I drink porter, I’m an unfrozen caveman who drinks porter. Your world frightens and confuses me. My primitive mind can’t understand your fancy fax machines and car horns. But one thing I do know, is that this porter is a delicious mix of dark roasted grains and Sterling hops. (I borrowed this recipe and beer name from Ryan Mott at the Fulton. Delicious beer, and the best porter name I’ve seen.)
Malts: NW Pale, Munich, Crystal 135, Crystal Rye, Chocolate, and Organic C60.
Hops: Nugget and Sterling.
OG: 1.057 TG: 1.016 ABV: 5.29 IBU: 30 SRM: 26
Black as the darkest night, rich as the most decadent dessert, Terminator is for the true stout lover. This is a full bodied and flavor packed ale which draws its robust complexity from kiln-baked specialty grains. Look for a wide array of toasted, chocolate, nutty and coffee-like flavors in every pint! The devoted swear by it, and it remains one of our top selling ales year after year.
Malts: Premium 2-row Malt, Munich Malt, 40L Crystal, and Black Barley
Hops: Chinook and Cascade
OG: 1.065 TG: 1.015 ABV: 6.45 IBU: 30 SRM: 35
Serrano, Poblano, and Anaheim peppers give this beer the right kick and spice. Not too hot, but flavorful, these peppers combine with a light, crisp wheat beer backdrop. This is the perfect beer for a crawfish boil, or a wing-fry, or even just an afternoon at the pub.
Malts: Wheat, Caramel Munich 40, and Two-row
Hops: Chinook and Tettnanger
Here’s Bob’s Blonde Ale. Bob has a friend named Bud. Bud makes a light beer, as well. Bob’s beer, however, is way better than Bud’s. Bob’s Blonde Ale is delicious. It is light and refreshing. Bud’s is not. Easy choice? Absolutely.
Malts: Pilsen, Wheat, Goldpils Vienna, Carapils, and Barley Flakes
Hops: U.S. Goldings
OG: 1.045 TG: 1.007 ABV: 4.90 IBU: 23 SRM: 3
Sometimes, it’s nice to taste the hops, without the huge beer taste. Here comes a crisp, drinkable session ale with lots of hop flavor. Proof that faking it isn’t bad, unless you’re John Fogerty, insisting that he was ‘Born on the Bayou’, even though he was born and raised in Northern California, or Neil Young, a Canadian who thinks he knows something about a ‘ Southern Man’. But, I digress. This beer is delicious.
Malts: Pilsen, Carapils, Ashburne Mild, Melanoidin, and Flaked Barley
Hops: Amarillo, Simcoe, Chinook and Centennial
OG: 1.046 TG: 1.007 ABV: 5.03 IBU: 69 SRM: 3
One of our most popular standards, we still make Ruby with the same aims we had when brewing the first batch back in March 1986: To create an ale light, crisp and refreshingly fruity. Great Western Premium 2-row and 42 pounds of Oregon-grown and processed raspberry puree is used to craft every colorful batch. Simple but delicious. Taste the original!
Malts: Premium 2-row Malt
OG: 1.039 TG: 1.005 ABV: 4.39
A classic Northwest pale ale and McMenamins top selling beer. This rich chestnut colored gem is a model of harmony between hops and malted barley. Hammerhead's signature Cascade hop nose and intense hopped flavor blend nicely with the caramel tones from the crystal malt. This beer has a vocal following. To run out is an unforgivable sin.
Malts: Premium 2-row Malt and 75L Crystal Malt
OG: 1.056 TG 1.010 ABV: 5.93 IBU: 44 SRM: 11
Edgefield Hard Apple Cider
Locally grown apples are juiced and fermented into a light, crisp and refreshing hard cider.
Edgefield Perry – 100% Pear Hard Cider
Just as “hard apple cider” is fermented apples, “perry” is fermented pears. We started with a freshly pressed blend 82% Bartlett and 18% Anjou pears, and feremented this to dryness. Pears, unlike apples and grapes, contain a higher percentage of unfermentable sugars (mainly sorbitol), so the finished fermentation contains a higher level of sweetness from these residual sugars. To balance out the acidity, additional fresh-pressed pear juice was also blended back into the fermented perry.
