Black Widow (available in 22oz bottles)
Originally created at the Thompson Brewery over 20 years ago on October 15, 1991 and made once a year by all Thompson Brewers to come after that, Black Widow has become an expected and welcome Halloween treat at the Thompson Public House in Salem. Black Widow's web envelops the entire company every year now. Each deep-black goblet of Black Widow is packed full of the robust notes afforded by generous amounts of black and roast malts and further spirited with ethereal wisps of caramel and licorice. Both substantial and sublime, this elixir is sure to slake the most fiendish of thirsts. Open up a creaking pub door, find a seat with friends and family and nourish your inner ghoul with a brew steeped in tradition and mystery. A good howl at the Cheshire moon couldn't hurt, either.

Hillsdale 30th Anniversary Ale
On October 25th 1985 McMenamins began its journey into the history of Oregon brewing with the liquid malt extract based Hillsdale Ale - a ‘Special Bitter' style beer that pre-dates Terminator, Hammerhead and Ruby as the company's first bona fide flagship beer. To celebrate this historic brew day, we've carefully studied the margins, scribbles, and beer stained errata of the original brewery records in an attempt to recreate one of the Pacific North- west's lost legacy beers. We believe this modern version is true to its past as a medium-bodied, straw-colored ale with a crisp, light bitterness owing to Centennial, Tettnang and Brewers Gold hops.
ABV-4.51% IBU-38 SRM-4
A standard, easy-drinking blonde ale golden in color and low in bitterness. A nice micro alternative to lagers and our lightest ale.
ABV-4.39% IBU-13 SRM-3
Cream Ale (on Nitro tap)
Not a classic pre-prohibition cream ale, but a light ale with lactose sugar added and put on nitro for extra creaminess.
ABV-4.77% IBU-17 SRM-3

McMenamins Irish Stout (on Nitro tap)
This is a very dark, ebony-colored stout .T he flavor is a fantastic fusion of coffee-like roasted barley bitterness and semi-sweet chocolate. The Monolith Imperial IPA
A majestic monument to hops, The Monolith Imperial IPA is for hop lovers with a taste for IBUs. Stacked with Simcoe, Centennial, Mosaic and Citra hops layering this monstrous beer with stone fruit and citrus goodness. Enjoy!
ABV- 8.26% IBU-98 SRM-8
Star Destroyer Imperial Stout
Take a walk on the dark side with this rich beer. Pairing 7 different malts to bring out the bitter roasted caramel make this beer a necessary evil.
ABV-7.22% IBU-56 SRM-39
A classic Northwest pale ale and McMenamins top selling beer. This rich chestnut colored gem is a model of harmony between hops and malted barley. Hammerhead's signature Cascade hop nose and intense hopped flavor blend nicely with the caramel tones from the crystal malt. This beer has a vocal following. To run out is an unforgivable sin.

One of our most popular standards, we still make Ruby with the same aims we had when brewing the first batch back in March 1986: To create an ale light, crisp and refreshingly fruity. Great Western Premium 2-row and 42 pounds of Oregon-grown and processed raspberry puree is used to craft every colorful batch. Simple but delicious. Taste the original!
