Kris Kringle AleKris Kringle
Just in time for the holidays, the busy-as-elves McMenamins brewers have created another wonderful gift for your taste buds this holiday sea-son. The 2014 version of Kris Kringle is a hearty and robust ale with a big and bold malt complexity as well as an intense and flavorful hop profile. This “winter warmer” highlights the rich, toasty, aromatic and chocolaty malt flavors as its very sturdy foundation. Generous amounts of five different hop varieties were added in five different additions, which deliv-ers a magnificent and massive hop assault. McMenamins brewers hope you enjoy this years’ version of our old holiday favorite, Kris Kringle. Hap-py Holidays and a Wonderful New Year!
Malts: Pale Ale, Munich, Wheat, 15L& 120L Crystal, Choclate
Hops: Chinook, Cascade, Centennial, Perle, Sterling
OG: 1.068  TG: 1.015  ABV: 6.84  SRM: 15

Buddy Ol’ Pal IPA
The “Buddy Ol’ Pal” IPA is sure to become a good friend. With only one pound of bittering hops, it has a soft, slightly less aggressive initial bitter-ness. The majority of Centennial and Chinook hops were added to the kettle at the very end of the boil. With this type of hop schedule, the beer turns out less bitter yet displays ample flavor and aroma. Chinook and Centennial hops combine to produce a nice balance of Pine and citrus notes. Raise a glass of this IPA and give a toast to your favorite Buddy Ol’ Pal!
Malts: Pilsner, Flaked Barley
Hops: Centennial, Chinook, Nugget
OG: 1.058  TG: 1.009  ABV: 6.32  IBU: 90  SRM: 3

Dream Girl Summer Ale
The Dream girl wheat will put a smile on your face rain or shine. Brewed with Vienna and wheat malt, this American style wheat ale is sure to quench your summer thirst. Brewed with bitter orange peel and corian-der, the Dream Girls has just the right amount of spice and flavor. Pairs wonderfully with any pub menu but is also unique enough to stand alone.
Malts: Premium Two-Row, Vienna, Wheat and Crystal 40L
Hops: Nugget, Brewers Gold
OG: 1.048  TG: 1.008  ABV: 4.9  IBU: 25  SRM: 3

Spontaneous Generation Berliner Weisse
In the middle ages, thinkers theorized that life- if given the proper condi-tions- could spring up from lifeless matter ‘spontaneously.’ For this beer, we’ve recreated the magic of spontaneous generation by storing our wort in the brew kettle over night and adding lactobacillus to sour the liquid. From the lifeless wort, a tart, tasty, light Summer wheat has sprung forth with centuries of brewing tradition behind it.
OG: 1.031  TG: 1.004  ABV: 3.48
Malts: Heidelberg, Pale Wheat, and Acidulated

Red Rhino
To celebrate the 24th year of the Oak Hills brew pub we have concocted yet another original recipe. The Red Rhino is a red ale so rich in color and flavor that it has earned the Oak Hills patented “Rhino” moniker. Just the right combination and amount of crystal malt gives this ale its signature, deep red hue. Red Rhino is hopped with pungent Centennials and Cascade hops and in an attempt to round off this pure “C” hop beer, Falconers Flight 7C’s pellets were added toward the end of fermentation.
Malts: Maris Otter, Organic Crystal-60, Crystal 135-165 and Chocolate
Hops: Centennial, Cascade, Falconers Flight 7 C’s
OG: 1.061  TG: 1.012  ABV: 6.32  IBU: 82  SRM: 16

Stormy Sky IPA (on Nitro)
This is an IPA quite opposite of what you would typically see at Oak Hills. It’s Darker in color and more earthy and spicy in hop flavor. Being drawn out of the nitro tap, gives it a soft, velvety mouth feel. With our weather starting to turn towards winter, I wanted an IPA to represent the season. The Stormy Sky is a much more malt driven beer than the dryer, more sum-mer like Clear Sky IPA. Weather you embrace the winter with Stormy Sky, or pretend its still summer with the Clear Sky, raise a glass of IPA!!
Malts: Premium Two-Row, Munich, Crystal 120, Chocolate
Hops: Centennial, Crystal, and Simcoe
OG: 1.060  TG: 1.010  ABV: 6.45  IBU: 83  SRM: 10

Perennial Pale Ale
The Perennial Pale ale is a flavor and aroma forward beer, without the bitterness of an IPA. Crystal 75 malt was used to give this ale is brick color. 5 pounds of meridian hop pellets and one pound of Falconer’s Flight pellets went straight into the fermenter to give the beer its ample aroma and hop flavor.
Malts: Premium Two-Row, C-75
Hops: Nugget, Cascade, Meridian, Falconers Flight
OG: 1.057  TG: 1.010  ABV: 6.0  IBU: 63  SRM: 8

This McMenamins classic has taken on a transformation out here on the Westside. This is a stronger more full flavored interpretation of the original. This version is more of an English style Pale. The Munich and Vienna malt provide a slightly toasted malt character, while the Willamette and Sterling hops add spice and floral qualities. This beer finishes smooth with just a touch of sweetness.
Malts: Two Row, Munich, Vienna
Hops: Chinook, Willamette, Sterling
OG: 1.055  TG: 1.010  ABV: 5.8  IBU: 39  SRM: 5

A classic Northwest pale ale. This rich chestnut colored gem is a model of harmony between hops & malted barley. Hammerhead's signature Cascade hop nose & intense hop flavor blend nicely with the caramel tones from the Crystal malt. To run out is an unforgivable sin.
Malts: Premium 2-row Malt and 75L Crystal Malt
Hops: Cascade
OG: 1.056 TG 1.010  ABV: 5.93  IBU: 44  SRM: 11

Terminator Stout
Black as the darkest night, rich as the most decadent dessert, Terminator is for the true stout lover. A full bodied & flavor packed ale which draws its robust complexity from a wide array of kiln-baked specialty grains. Flavors of toast, chocolate, nut and coffee flavors in every pint!
Malts: Premium 2-row Malt, Munich Malt, 40L Crystal, and Black Barley
Hops: Chinook and Cascade
OG: 1.065  TG: 1.015  ABV: 6.45  IBU: 30  SRM: 35

Ruby Ale

We still make Ruby with the same aims we had when brewing the first batch back in March 1986: To create an ale light, crisp and refreshingly fruity. Great Western Premium 2-row and 42 pounds of Oregon-grown & processed raspberry puree is used to craft every colorful batch.
Malts: Premium 2-row Malt
Hops: Vary
Fruit: Raspberries
OG: 1.039  TG: 1.005  ABV: 4.3
