Red Riser IRA - The New Year is upon us and it gives rise to McMenamins newest Seasonal Beer, Red Riser IRA. To celebrate the late winter months, McMenamins brewers offer this delightful India Red Ale, a beer style that is characterized by a deep garnet hue, a rich malty mouthfeel and the hop character of an IPA. Red Riser IRA is a perfect example of this hearty modern ale style and is the first in a new series of Seasonal Beers that McMenamins will be rolling out in 2013 as we look to expand, evolve and enhance our Seasonal Beer Release Program. Alcohol: 7.10% • IBU: 98 • SRM: 14
Light Of Day IPA - The "Light of Day" IPA is an aggressive, flavorful beer. 15 combined pounds of Nugget, Galina, sterling and Cascade hops makes this beer a high IBU (International bittering units) offering. The aroma of the "Light of Day" is the first thing that will grab your senses. Give credit to the 5 pounds of Galina/Cascade combo added to the end of the boil.

Bagdad Ale - This Mcmenamins classic has taken on a transformation out here on the Westside. This is a stronger more full flavored interpretation of the original. This version is more of an English style Pale. The Munich and Vienna malt provide a slightly toasted malt character, while the Tettnanger and Sterling hops add spice and floral qualities. This beer finishes smooth with just a touch of sweetness.

Deep V Wheat - The Deep V originated at the Edgefield Brewery earlier this year. When I came to Oak Hills, I was eager to bring this recipe with me. This beer is flavorful yet extremely easy drinking.

Purple Haze -A light, crisp and refreshingly fruity ale made with boysenberries. Purple Haze is very lightly hopped to allow the berry flavor to shine. Slightly more tart and fuller bodied than our Ruby recipe, this is a pub favorite.

Kris Kringle - Just in time for the holidays, the busy-as-elves McMenamins brewers have created another wonderful gift for your taste buds this holiday season. The 2012 version of Kris Kringle is a hearty and robust ale with a big and bold malt complexity as well as an intense and flavorful hop profile. This "winter warmer" highlights the rich, toasty, aromatic & chocolaty malt flavors as its sturdy foundation. Generous amounts of four different hop varieties were added in five different additions, which delivers a magnificent & massive hop assault. McMenamins brewers hope you enjoy this years' version of our old Holiday favorite, Kris Kringle.

Oatmeal Milk Stout (Nitro) - Edgefield brewer Nate "Lion" Whitney doesn't hate the player or the game. He brings the love with this stout, thoughtfully blending the best of the style's many variations. Milk stout creaminess? A malty body smooth as a jam from the Rick James classic Street Sounds (or the best oatmeal stouts)? Dark chocolate? All there! What? You want more? Okay. The Edgefield Lion remembered you hop lovers, too, using Northwest-grown Goldings hops from the 2012 harvest. Is that piney hop resin and aroma that you're getting? Yes. It is. But it's also a massive dose of love.
