Pond Jumper Dark English Mild
We brewed this beauty with English Burton Ale yeast to give it some U.K. life. A classic English style ale: it is malt forward with tones of biscuity, roasty goodness, and a moderate use of hops to give it some earthy, spicy, and… is that a floral note? Yes, yes it is. Mild Ales are designed to be enjoyed a couple of times over (note the ABV) so treat yourself to some British tradition.

This India Pale Ale pours pale yellow with an inviting frothy white head on top. The word white in the name is a reference to the generous amount of wheat malt used alongside the pale malt that makes up the base in this recipe. The result is an IPA that, while light in color, has a very substantial body and mouth feel. The finish is hoppy and bitter and full of citrusy grapefruit.

The result is a flavorful but citrusy and refreshing American style wheat beer.

Edgefield Fresh Hard Apple Cider
Recently we have been transitioning our hard cider production to be made exclusively from a fresh juice blend. We are working with a local cider house to obtain fresh juice throughout the year, and then fermenting and finishing the cider as we have done since we first began production of hard cider in the winery in 1992. What this means to the consumer is that they will notice a slightly lighter color hue to the cider as well as more fresh apple aromatics in their glass.
Edgefield Fresh-Spiced Hard Apple Cider
A subtle addition of winter spices rounds out this years journey into the evolving world of McMenamins seasonal ciders. A harmonious addition of fresh Valencia orange zest, dried orange peel, whole vanilla beans, nutmeg and gently crushed allspice are all balanced above a base of freshly fermented apple juice.
