Ale & Cider On Tap
Just in time for the holidays, the busy-as-elves McMenamins brewers have created another wonderful gift for your taste buds this holiday season. The 2014 version of Kris Kringle is a hearty and robust ale with a big and bold malt complexity as well as an intense and flavorful hop profile. This “winter warmer” highlights the rich, toasty, aromatic and chocolaty malt flavors as its very sturdy foundation. Generous amounts of five different hop varieties were added in five different additions, which delivers a magnificent and massive hop assault. McMenamins brewers hope you enjoy this years’ version of our old Holiday favorite, Kris Kringle. Happy Holidays and a Wonderful New Year!

Black Widow Porter
Originally created at the Thompson Brewery over 20 years ago on October 15, 1991, Black Widow has become an expected and welcome Halloween treat at all McMenamins locations. Each deep-black goblet of Black Widow is packed full of the robust notes afforded by generous amounts of black and roast malts and further spirited with ethereal wisps of caramel and licorice. Both substantial and sublime, this elixir is sure to slake the most fiendish of thirsts. Open up a creaking pub door, find a seat with friends and family and nourish your inner ghoul with a brew steeped in tradition and mystery. A good howl at the Cheshire moon couldn’t hurt, either. Made with boysenberries instead of the raspberry puree this light, crisp, and refreshingly fruity ale is slightly more tart and fuller bodied than our ruby recipe. This is a pub favorite. Seriously, people go crazy when we put this on tap.

Screaming Eagle American Wheat Ale
Along with apple pie, baseball, and ranch dressing fewer things are more American than a good, light, clean American Wheat Ale. Right off you’ve got that traditional haze and beautiful white head. Then you can expect the slightest hint of malt sweetness, and you’ll probably notice that it’s lightly bittered and nicely finished with mellow U.S. Goldings for those classic citrus notes. All told the beer is pretty mild so you’d better have a couple to effectively tease out all of its nuances. Cheers!
Malts: White Wheat, 2-Row, Munich, Crystal Wheat
Hops: U.S. Golding

Autumn Snooze IPA
Now that the mornings are getting colder it’s getting easier and easier to hit that snooze button to stay underneath your warm covers. But, the day marches on. You hop to it eventually, and when your day is over you deserve something that hops to you. Out of the pint glass and up your nostrils the aromas of this pungent American IPA are bursting with hop goodness like passion fruit, and a background of lime citrus. Let those smells translate into taste on your palate, and then experience a fine bitterness as it rises and fades like a gentle fall breeze.

On Regular & Nitro Tap:
The Final Count Brown Ale
It’s Fall season and everywhere the ales are getting bigger, bolder, darker, and better suited for cold weather and overcast skies. We make no exceptions out here at the Highland. Enjoy a malt forward Brown Ale that serves up notes of bready, biscuity goodness, dates, toffee, and some good old fashioned American hopping. A punny name plucked from a great song written by a pack of Swedes is just the tip of the iceberg. Here’s a Swedish cheers to the creators of the song that inspired the name for an epic seasonal brew: skål!

One of our most popular standards, we still make Ruby with the same aims we had when brewing the first batch back in March 1986: To create an ale light, crisp and refreshingly fruity. Great Western Premium 2-row and 42 pounds of Oregon-grown and processed raspberry puree is used to craft every colorful batch. Simple but delicious. Taste the original!

This is a full bodied and flavor packed ale which draws its robust complexity from kiln-baked specialty grains. Look for a wide array of toasted, chocolate, nutty and coffee-like flavors in every pint! The devoted swear by it, and it remains one of our top selling ales year after year.

A classic Northwest pale ale and McMenamins top selling beer. This rich chestnut colored gem is a model of harmony between hops and malted barley. Hammerhead's signature Cascade hop nose and intense hopped flavor blend nicely with the caramel tones from the crystal malt. This beer has a vocal following. To run out is an unforgivable sin.
