Ale & Cider On Tap
Copper Moon has a bit more malt quality and hop character than most other summer seasonals, giving rise to a refreshing, flavorful beer style that we like to identify as a Summer Pale Ale. A flavorsome yet summery smooth sweetness is the first thing you’ll taste. The hop flavor and aroma intermingle delightfully to generate a dazzling citrusy, floral and slightly spicy olfactory experience. There’s a Copper Moon risin’ again this summer across McMenamins, make sure that you check it out.

Grasshopper’s Dance IPA
A pint to toast to the grasshopper who danced and played his fiddle all summer. Sure the ant was the one who had a cozy winter, but that doesn’t mean we have to work ALL the time. Straw yellow in color with grapefruit citrus and faint lemongrass notes to open up on the nose and the palate while a fine bitterness washes over and dries out the finish. Of course, we should work and play in moderation. But, mostly play.
Malts: Carapils, Caramunich 40L, Caravienne 20L, Pilsen
Hops: Nugget, Horizon, Amarillo, Crystal, Cascade Dry Hopped: Falconer’s Flight
OG: 1.065 TG: 1.017 ABV: 6.45 IBU: 59 SRM: 6
Dave’s Devil Juice Double Red Ale
Our friend David Wasserberger cannot stand all of these Imperial IPAs, Double IPAs, Triple IPAs, IRAs, and CDAs. He thinks the nuclear hops race has come to be flat out ridiculous. Well, some of us like it that way, Dave. But, since you are quitting the McMenamin family and setting off on new adventures we’re willing to make a concession: think on the bready Marris Otter and delicious Munich malts. A light hand on the hops and Steven Segal sized fistfuls of grains this sweet, full bodied red ale is a long drink—as it should be when you wish a friend all the best in opening a new chapter in life. Cheers, buddy.
Malts: Marris Otter, Munich 10L, Caramunich 40L, Red Wheat, Roasted Barley, Aromatic Malt
Hops: Horizon, Centennial, Mosaic, Amarillo
OG: 1.071 TG: 1.014 ABV: 7.35 IBU: 23 SRM: 13
Shoulder The Sky Porter
The troubles of our proud and angry dust Are from eternity, and shall not fail. Bear them we can, and if we can we must. Shoulder the sky, my lad, and drink your ale. — A.E. Housman
Dark and plenty flavorful it’s just right for end-of-the-day ruminations, contemplations, or relaxation. Dwell on the roasted malt flavors, the subtle spice from the crystal rye, and the earthy, noble hop contribution. Maybe you can pretend you’re an 18th century laborer—arguably the era of Porter’s birth as a style—brooding with your chum at a local pub where you’re finding solace in good company and a pint.
Malts: Pale Malt, Wheat, Crystal Rye 80L, Brown Malt, Roasted Barley, Black Malt, Chocolate Malt
Hops: Horizon, Tettnanger
OG: 1.054 TG: 1.013 ABV: 5.29 IBU: 46 SRM: 33
One of our most popular standards, we still make Ruby with the same aims we had when brewing the first batch back in March 1986: To create an ale light, crisp and refreshingly fruity. Great Western Premium 2-row and 42 pounds of Oregon-grown and processed raspberry puree is used to craft every colorful batch. Simple but delicious. Taste the original!
Malts: Premium 2-row Malt
OG: 1.039 TG: 1.005 ABV: 4.3
Black as the darkest night, rich as the most decadent dessert, Terminator is for the true stout lover. This is a full bodied and flavor packed ale which draws its robust complexity from kiln-baked specialty grains. Look for a wide array of toasted, chocolate, nutty and coffee-like flavors in every pint! The devoted swear by it, and it remains one of our top selling ales year after year.
Malts: Premium 2-row Malt, Munich Malt, 40L Crystal, and Black Barley
Hops: Chinook and Cascade
OG: 1.065 TG: 1.015 ABV: 6.45 IBU: 30 SRM: 35
A classic Northwest pale ale and McMenamins top selling beer. This rich chestnut colored gem is a model of harmony between hops and malted barley. Hammerhead's signature Cascade hop nose and intense hopped flavor blend nicely with the caramel tones from the crystal malt. This beer has a vocal following. To run out is an unforgivable sin.
Malts: Premium 2-row Malt and 75L Crystal Malt
OG: 1.056 TG 1.010 ABV: 5.93 IBU: 44 SRM: 11
Edgefield Hard Apple Cider
Locally grown apples are juiced and fermented into a light, crisp and refreshing hard cider.
Edgefield Pomegranate Hard Apple Cider
A blend of pomegranate and apple juice, the subtle pomegranate flavors blend nicely with those from the apple, bringing a bit of astringency and color to the mix. A bit sweeter than our standard hard cider, the Pomegranate Cider balances this sweetness with natural acidity and carbonation.
Hand-crafted at the Highland BrewPub by brewer Tyler Staples unless otherwise noted.
