Black Widow Porter
Originally created at the Thompson Brewery over 20 years ago on October 15, 1991 and made once a year by all Thompson Brewers to come after that, Black Widow has become an expected and welcome Hallow-een treat at the Thompson Public House in Salem. Black Widow’s web envelops the entire company eve-ry year now. Each deep-black goblet of Black Widow is packed full of the robust notes afforded by generous amounts of black and roast malts and further spirited with ethereal wisps of caramel and licorice. Both sub-stantial and sublime, this elixir is sure to slake the most fiendish of thirsts. Open up a creaking pub door, find a seat with friends and family and nourish your inner ghoul with a brew steeped in tradition and mys-tery. A good howl at the Cheshire moon couldn’t hurt, either.

A light, crisp and refreshingly fruity ale made with boysenberries. Purple Haze is very lightly hopped to allow the berry flavor to shine. Slightly more tart and fuller bodied than our Ruby recipe, this is a pub favorite.

Old Crowenfagen Barleywine 2013
Brewed with copious amounts of Maris Otter, Melanoidin, and Crystal Malts, this beast is rounded out with spicy Chinook and floral Cascade hops, before being aged in bourbon soaked American oak.

Saladin Black Ale
Big, bold, and unforgiving. This pirate ale was brewed in the style of a traditional IPA to survive the long months at sea. The addition of Blackprinze and Crys-tal malts provide some extra complexity to this full bodied ale. 3 rounds of extremely healthy dry hopping were used to keep her afloat and prepare her for a months long aging with Hogshead Oak.

A classic Northwest pale ale and McMenamins top selling beer. This rich chestnut colored gem is a model of harmony between hops and malted barley. Ham-merhead's signature Cascade hop nose and intense hopped flavor blend nicely with the caramel tones from the crystal malt. This beer has a vocal following. To run out is an unforgivable sin.

This is a full bodied and flavor packed ale which draws its robust complexity from kiln-baked specialty grains. One of our most popular standards, we still make Ruby with the same aims we had when brewing the first batch back in March 1986: To create an ale light, crisp and refreshingly fruity. Great Western Premium 2-row and 42 pounds of Oregon-grown and processed raspberry puree is used to craft every colorful batch. Simple but delicious. Taste the original!

Edgefield Hard Apple Cider
Locally grown apples are juiced and fermented into a light, crisp and refreshing hard cider.
Edgefield Blackberry Hard Apple Cider
Dark garnet in color, the aromas of fresh blackberries burst from the glass. The tart blackberry component is balanced out by a small amount of residual sugar, while the fermented apple rounds out the mid-palate and finish.
