Sleepy Hollow Nut Brown Ale

Sleepy Hollow Nut Brown
This longtime favorite has a chestnut color and medium body that will cast an otherworldly spell over you. The complex malt character, well balanced with Chinook and US Golding hops, will have you walking in a continual reverie. Legend has it that Ichabod Crane downed a few Nut Brown Ales listening to local ghost tales and scary legends at the Van Tassel merry-making party before his fateful trip home. Be watchful and clear-headed on your way home lest you begin to grow fanciful, see shapes and shadows in the night and hear things in the howling wind. It may just be your imagination running away with you or it very well may be the Headless Horseman on his fire-breathing black stallion following you!
Malts: Pale Ale, Flaked Barley, Munich, C15 & C120 Crystal, Chocolate and Roast
Hops: Nugget and US Golding
OG: 1.050  TG: 1.011  ABV: 5.03  IBU: 17  SRM: 18
Buzz Words: Well-balanced, nutty and fanciful

McMenamins Irish Stout-Nitro
Made as traditionally as possible with our own little twist. It is a very dark, ebony-colored stout with a thick, creamy and long-lasting head. The flavor is a fantastic fusion of coffee-like roasted barley bitterness and semi-sweet chocolate. A moderate hop bitterness balances pleasingly with this hearty backbone, while tiny nitrogen bubbles enhance the sensation on your taste buds with a smooth, silky creaminess. One sip will have your head in the Emerald Isle clouds. A touch of the Irish, the blessings of St. Patrick and a pint of McMenamins Irish Stout to you!
Ingredients: Great Western Pale Malt, Grain Millers Flaked Barley, Bairds Chocolate Malt, Bairds Brown Malt and Bairds Roasted Barley. Chinook and US Goldings provide hop bitterness and flavor.
