Just in time for the holidays, the busy-as-elves McMenamins brewers have created another wonderful gift for your taste buds this holiday season. The 2013 version of Kris Kringle is a hearty and robust ale with a big and bold malt complexity as well as an intense and flavorful hop profile. This “winter warmer” highlights the rich, toasty, aromatic and chocolaty malt flavors as its very sturdy foundation. Generous amounts of four different hop varieties were added in five different additions, which delivers a magnificent and massive hop assault. Black Widow Porter
Originally created at the Thompson Brewery over 20 years ago on October 15, 1991 and made once a year by all Thompson Brewers to come after that, Black Widow has become an expected and welcome Halloween treat at the Thompson Public House in Salem. Black Widow’s web envelops the entire company every year now. Each deep-black goblet of Black Widow is packed full of the robust notes afforded by generous amounts of black and roast malts and further spirited with ethereal wisps of caramel and licorice. Both substantial and sublime, this elixir is sure to slake the most fiendish of thirsts. Open up a creaking pub door, find a seat with friends and family and nourish your inner ghoul with a brew steeped in tradition and mystery. A good howl at the Cheshire moon couldn’t hurt, either.

McMenamins Irish Stout
McMenamins Irish Stout is our interpretation of the internationally renowned beer style that originated in Ireland. McMenamins Irish Stout is made as traditionally as possible with our own little twist. It is a very dark, ebony-colored stout with a thick, creamy and long-lasting head. The flavor is a fantastic fusion of coffee-like roasted barley bitterness and semi-sweet chocolate. A moderate hop bitterness balances pleasingly with this hearty backbone, while tiny nitrogen bubbles enhance the sensation on your taste buds with a smooth, silky creaminess. One sip will have your head in the Emerald Isle clouds. A touch of the Irish, the blessings of St. Patrick and a pint of McMenamins Irish Stout to you!

This golden hued ale uses Cascade hops in modest amounts to create a subtle flavor and bitterness. It is named after SW Nebraska Street, the street that the Fulton Pub and Brewery is located, and where it was first brewed.

You’ll go crazy for the Mosaic Maniac. A big malt base provides the strength to balance the insane amount of hops used in this single hop double IPA. The Mosaic hops lend a tropical fruit character to the mix with hints of mango, tangerine and peaches.

McMenamins Monroe Brewery
This is a Russian Imperial Stout. Ballena means whale in Spanish. 42 ounce bottles of Pacifico in Baja are called Ballena’s. I consumed several these bottles while watching whales in B.C.S. My wife suggested I name a brew after these magnificent beings. Sounded like a good idea to me. A big beer like an Imperial Stout seemed to fit. Bad roads bring good people was what she said to me.

An American style India Pale Ale brewed with Pale Ale and Caramel Vienna malts to provide an ample malt backbone, complemented by aggressive hopping for plenty of bitterness and an emphasis on hop flavors and aromas.

Named after Ezra Wissler and the property along the North Umpqua river where he settled in 1852 (now known as Whistler’s Bend Park) this refreshing American Wheat Ale is light bodied with notable Wheat and Munich malt flavors, and modestly hopped for balance. Try it with a wedge of lemon or orange.

A medium bodied dark ale with chocolate, caramel, nutty and roast flavors and an ample hop character to complement the malts.

Firefly Kölsch is a crisp, thirst-quenching golden ale made as true to this unique German style as possible. 100% German malts lend a flavorful, yet surprisingly subtle malt profile. Tettnanger hops impart a distinct, yet extremely smooth hop character. Fermentation with a genuine Kölsch yeast strain makes Firefly Kölsch one of the cleanest tasting and most refreshing beers around.

A classic Northwest pale ale and McMenamins top selling beer. This rich chestnut colored gem is a model of harmony between hops and malted barley. Hammerhead's signature Cascade hop nose and intense hopped flavor blend nicely with the caramel tones from the crystal malt. This beer has a vocal following. To run out is an unforgivable sin.

Black as the darkest night, rich as the most decadent dessert, Terminator is for the true stout lover.
