Sleepy Hollow Nut Brown
It’s the time of year to start savoring the potion of your choice to warm the bones and soothe the soul. And one can’t think of anything better than the McMenamins classic seasonal brew, Sleepy Hollow Nut Brown. This longtime favorite has a chestnut color and medium body that will cast an otherworldly spell over you. The complex malt character, well balanced with Chinook and US Golding hops, will have you walking in a continual reverie. Legend has it that Ichabod Crane downed a few Nut Brown Ales listening to local ghost tales and scary legends at the Van Tassel merry-making party before his fateful trip home. Be watchful and clear-headed on your way home lest you begin to grow fanciful, see shapes and shadows in the night and hear things in the howling wind. It may just be your imagination running away with you or it very well may be the Headless Horseman on his fire-breathing black stallion following you!

Bagdad Single Hop Series: Ultra
Bagdad Ale is a benchmark beer for McMenamins, our Bagdad is one for the lover of light, crisp, and flavorful beers. The Single Hop Series Bagdad was designed as an educational exercise for both our brewers and for our guests. Ultra Hops were first released in 1995 and provide a mild and pleasant aroma with spicy and floral tones. This series will be going A-Z until we’ve exhausted all the possibilities! Edgefield Extra 2014 Barley Wine
The Extra’s roots go back nearly to the very beginning of the brewery’s founding in 1991. This Extra is a traditional English Barley Wine that is huge on Maris Otter malt character and brimming with graham cracker and toffee flavors. This special link between the past and present has been one of our brewers’ favorite technical challenges to make and is a beer that promises to age extremely well. The Extra will surface occasionally as the base for some of our barrel-aged offerings, and will be re-released from time to time as it matures. We at Edgefield hope you enjoy it for years to come. Cone Thug IPA
Cone Thug is the newest IPA to roll out of the Edgefield Brewery. It’s the Original Gangster (OG). Cone Thug is here to establish dominance on your palate and take over some new turf. This IPA pours with a nice light orange color and will blast your tongue with a citrusy finish. Cone Thug is seeking new recruits… So mount up posse, it’s time to regulate.

Water Tower Wheat
The water tower dominates the skyline out at the Edgefield property. Hops are also grown up the tower during the summer. Giving us brewers a reason to cheers the connection between beer and the property. This wheat is an American Wit with a twist! Lemon Peel was thrown into the boil just before flame off to give a slight citrusy aroma and flavor. Light go lden in color with a nice citrusy flavor, this ale is sure to quench.

Major Threat Double IPA
The latest installment in our DIPA series is a true west coast double IPA. We blasted this brew with eight different kinds of hops late in the boil to get a wide range of hop flavor and aroma, from citrusy and tropical to earth and spice notes. We then dry-hopped the batch post-fermentation with Zythos hop pellets to really put it over the top. Sit back and enjoy!

Abbot of Unreason
In Scotland appointing an Abbot of Unreason, the official in charge of Christmas revelries and the Feast of Fools, is a holiday-time peasant tradition that can be traced back to Roman times. This dark and oaky Imperial stout was brewed and barrel aged for four months in Edgefield Distillery’s Hogshead Whiskey barrels to enhance the smooth flavors of coffee malt and cacao nibs in the base beer. The result is a concoction busting at the seams with unreasonable amounts of vanilla, chocolate, tobacco, and oak character.

Brimley’s Best Oatmeal Pale
This beer was brewed to celebrate the winter months. A hearty grain bill of rolled oats, oat malt, victory malt, and premium 2 row was used to create a chewy, full bodied mouth feel. Aromas of oats, toast, and spicy hops intermingle to create a truly decadent drinking experience that Walter Brimley would even cheers to!

This saison is the confluence of Spring and Winter in a glass. It’s airy, spicy, and light like more traditional, light colored saisons of Summer, but dark with more body and malt complexity that lends itself to contemplative pints watching Winter rain beat against the window pane. Saison Noir is a complex, lightly roasty ale featuring vanilla beans and the black pepper and citrus flavors of grains of paradise.

Irish eyes will be smiling with the arrival of our Saint Patrick’s Day Seasonal that will pour exclusively on our ‘Nitro’ taps for the entire month of March. It is a very dark, ebony-colored stout with a thick, creamy and long-lasting head. The flavor is a fantastic fusion of coffee-like roasted barley bitterness and semi-sweet chocolate. A moderate hop bitterness balances pleasingly with this hearty backbone, while tiny nitrogen bubbles enhance the sensation on your taste buds with a smooth, silky creaminess. One sip will have your head in the Emerald Isle clouds.
