Sleepy Hollow Nut Brown
It’s the time of year to start sa-voring the potion of your choice to warm the bones and soothe the soul. And one can’t think of anything better than the McMenamins classic seasonal brew, Sleepy Hollow Nut Brown. This longtime favorite has a chestnut color and medium body that will cast an otherworldly spell over you. The complex malt character, well balanced with Chinook and US Golding hops, will have you walking in a continual reverie. Legend has it that Ichabod Crane downed a few Nut Brown Ales listening to local ghost tales and scary legends at the Van Tassel merry-making party be-fore his fateful trip home. Be watchful and clear-headed on your way home lest you begin to grow fanciful, see shapes and shadows in the night and hear things in the howling wind. It may just be your imagina-tion running away with you or it very well may be the Headless Horse-man on his fire-breathing black stallion following you!

Just in time for the holidays, the busy-as-elves McMenamins brewers have created another wonderful gift for your taste buds this holiday season. The 2014 version of Kris Kringle is a hearty and robust ale with a big and bold malt complexity as well as an intense and flavorful hop profile. This “winter warmer” highlights the rich, toasty, aromatic and chocolaty malt flavors as its very sturdy foundation. Generous amounts of five different hop varieties were added in five different additions, which delivers a magnificent and massive hop assault. McMenamins brewers hope you enjoy this years’ version of our old Holiday favorite, Kris Kringle. Happy Holidays and a Wonderful New Year!

Bagdad Single Hop Series: Ultra
Bagdad Ale is a benchmark beer for McMenamins, our Bagdad is one for the lover of light, crisp, and flavorful beers. The Single Hop Series Bagdad was designed as an educational exercise for both our brewers and for our guests. Ultra Hops were first released in 1995 and provide a mild and pleasant aroma with spicy and floral tones. This series will be going A-Z until we’ve exhausted all the possibilities! Enjoy the ride with us.

Shell Shock IPA
This Hero in a Half Shell is a balanced IPA. The Munich and Rolled Oats add a nice malty backbone with a slight sweet aroma. While the Perle and Centennial hops give the beer a floral and lemon flavor. This IPA can pack a punch with flavor and strength. Cowabunga, dude!

Some say every time you can hear whistling in the brewery, a batch of beer has just been made. Whistling is something we do to pass the time, amuse ourselves, and can be a reflection of being generally in a great mood. This Wheat beer is just the right beer to accompany this. So sit back and enjoy this smooth batch of Wheat, and kick out some whistle jams. Cheers!
OG: 1.052 TG: 1.008 ABV: 5.68 IBU: 15 SRM: 4
Major Threat Double IPA
The latest installment in our DIPA series is a true west coast double IPA. We blasted this brew with eight different kinds of hops late in the boil to get a wide range of hop flavor and aroma, from citrusy and tropical to earth and spice notes. We then dry-hopped the batch post-fermentation with Zythos hop pellets to really put it over the top. Sit back and enjoy!

Lord Snow Imperial Stout
Black as a crow, this strong, dark beer was brewed with wintergreen and peppermint candies to give it a hint of the chill of winter, but its massive, thick body and warming strength help to ward that chill off. A huge supporting cast of dark malts- including a hundred and fifty pounds of rolled oats to add a smooth mouthfeel- provide a great depth and complexity of flavor accentuated by the herbal, faintly sweet undertones of wintergreen and peppermint. Grab a pint and bundle up. Winter is coming…
OG: 1.083 TG: 1.023 ABV: 8.26 IBU: 39 SRM: 39
Brimley’s Best Oatmeal Pale
This beer was brewed to celebrate the winter months. A hearty grain bill of rolled oats, oat malt, victory malt, and premium 2 row was used to create a chewy, full bodied mouth feel. Aromas of oats, toast, and spicy hops intermingle to create a truly decadent drinking experience that Walter Brimley would even cheers to!
OG: 1.058 TG: 1.009 ABV: 6.32 IBU: 40 SRM: 8
