The Rams Head
A popular hangout in Portland's trendy Northwest 23rd neighborhood, The Rams Head is housed in "The Campbell," a residential hotel (now high-end condos) built in 1912. The Rams Head has a dignified-but-jaunty air, just a step down off the sidewalk, like a British men's club dotted with psychedelic wall doodles.
With its coffered ceilings, stamped-tin wainscoting and comfy couches, its quiet sophistication makes The Rams Head a destination for visitors and locals alike (their urban-war-weary arms loaded with sacks from nearby locally-owned shops and boutiques). Outdoor seating on a warm summer's day may be hard to find as patrons enjoy cool handcrafted McMenamins ales with a side of tater tots.
The Rams Head allows pets at our sidewalk seating only.
