A small brewery launched in 1999, East Vancouver has earned a great respect for its lagers, the most celebrated of which are Madeleine's Special Pilsner, a Bavarian style lager that is both flavorful and refreshing (and named after a very special person) and Polonez, the featured beer of the 2003 Portland Polish Festival.
