Kris Kringle
Just in time for the holidays, the busy-as-elves McMenamins brewers have created another wonderful gift for your taste buds this holiday season. The 2015 version of Kris Kringle is a hearty and robust ale with a big and bold malt complexity as well as an intense and flavorful hop profile. This "winter warmer" highlights the rich, toasty, aromatic and chocolaty malt flavors as its very sturdy foundation. Generous amounts of two different hop varieties were added in five dif- ferent additions, which delivers a magnificent and massive hop assault. McMenamins brewers hope you enjoy this years' version of our old Holiday favorite, Kris Kringle. Happy Holidays and a Wonderful New Year!

Hop Maiden IPA
The waning summer signals the arrival of the barley-mother and wander- ing reaper in the Willamette valley. The spirits and gods of vegetation are alive in the first-fruits of the harvest and so we present this auspi- cious IPA brewed with 50 pounds of fresh Amarillo hops. In the early morning of August 28th these Amarillos were cut from their trellis at Crosby Hop Farm in Woodburn and taken directly to the Hillsdale brew- ery where they were offered to the flame and kettle, and now to you. So fill your cup with this hop-heavy sacrament, drink, be merry and enjoy your days under the sun.

Cluster IPA
Earthy Cluster hops and slightly sweet malt flavors dominate this IPA and a subtle bitter finish makes it light and smooth, good for any meal or time of the day.

Purple Hazed Wheat 
A light, crisp and refreshingly fruity ale made with boysenberries. Purple Haze is very lightly hopped to allow the berry flavor to shine. Slightly more tart and fuller bodied than our Ruby recipe, this is a pub favorite.

Space Child ESB
Pouring from the nitro tap this English Bitter is smooth, simple and sweet with a slightly bitter finish.

Black Widow
Originally created at the Thompson Brewery over 20 years ago on October 15, 1991 and made once a year by all Thompson Brewers to come after that, Black Widow has become an expected and welcome Halloween treat at the Thompson Public House in Salem. This year, however, Black Widow's web has enveloped the entire company, as every McMenamins brewery made a batch this year. Each deep-black goblet of Black Widow is packed full of the robust notes afforded by generous amounts of black and roast malts and fur- ther spirited with ethereal wisps of caramel and licorice. Both substan- tial and sublime, this elixir is sure to slake the most fiendish of thirsts. Open up a creaking pub door, find a seat with friends and family and nourish your inner ghoul with a brew steeped in tradition and mystery. A good howl at the Cheshire moon couldn't hurt, either.

A classic Northwest pale ale and McMenamins top selling beer. This rich chestnut colored gem is a model of harmony between hops and malted barley. Hammerhead's signature Cascade hop nose and intense hopped flavor blend nicely with the caramel tones from the crystal malt. This beer has a vocal following. To run out is an unforgivable sin.

Terminator Stout
Black as the darkest night, rich as the most decadent dessert, Terminator is for the true stout lover. This is a full bodied and flavor packed ale which draws its robust complexity from kiln-baked specialty grains. Look for a wide array of toasted, chocolate, nutty and coffee-like flavors in every pint! The devoted swear by it, and it remains one of our top selling ales year after year.

Ruby Ale

One of our most popular standards, we still make Ruby with the same aims we had when brewing the first batch back in March 1986: To create an ale light, crisp and refreshingly fruity. Great Western Premium 2-row and 42 pounds of Oregon-grown and processed raspberry puree is used to craft every colorful batch. Simple but delicious. Taste the original!

Hard Cider & Perry

Edgefield Hard Cider
The Edgefield Winery has been producing hard cider since 1992. Relying on the bounty that the Columbia Gorge offers us, we work with a local cider house that sources apples from cold stor- age to obtain fresh pressed apple juice throughout the year. The apples pressed off for our cider are primarily a blend of Red Deli- cious, Golden Delicious (added for color), Granny Smith (for acidity), and Fuji, Galas, and Honey Crisp (to increase sweetness).

The freshly pressed juice arrives at the Edgefield Winery, where it is pumped into temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Em- ploying a cool fermentation to maintain as much of the fresh apple aromas as possible, we ferment the cider until it is completely dry. A bit of fresh-pressed apple juice is then blended back into the hard cider for some sweetness and to balance the acidity. We keg the cider with some CO2 spritz, and ship it off to all of our loca- tions to enjoy.

Blackberry Cider
Dark garnet in color, the aromas of fresh blackberries burst from the glass. The slightly tannic and tart blackberry component is balanced out by a small amount of residual sugar, while the fermented apple rounds out the mid-palate and finish.

Worthy Prefunk Pale Ale (Bend, OR)
Pacific Northwest malts provide a balanced taste and mouthfeel, rounded by a smooth caramel background. Made with Citra and Amarillo hops, it finishes with a juicy hop burst with hints of tan- gerine, lychee, and pink lemonade.
