High Street, a Eugene favorite since 1988, is patronized by a devout community of BIG beer lovers. To satisfy their particular thirsts, brewer Charlton Fulton creates a multitude of special strong ales as well as popular company standards and seasonals in McMenamins' only truly subterranean brewery.
High Street is also home of the Mid Valley Brew Fest, a showcase of regional craft breweries held every September. High Street captured the taste buds of the Capital City Homebrewers, and thus the 2011 Barley Cup with Charlton's "Sweet Oblivion Porter." In addition to the cup, High Street won the right to represent McMenamins at the 16th Annual Holiday Ale Festival in Portland.
