Disc Golf at the Grand Lodge
10-holes of fun for pros and rookies alike
Course Map
Play a round of golf at the lodge... disc golf, that is! Formalized as a sport in the 1970s, disc golf is much like regular golf. The object is to complete each hole in the fewest number of throws and land your disc in a metal basket, or disc catcher.
Golfers beware! This is no easy game of Frisbee – obstacles trees, a sculpture, a bus stop, flagpole and more (and we're not even going to mention the 10th-hole balcony shot). Play on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday evening during the summer and you'll even have live music to guide you along.
There is no charge to play the course and all ages are welcome. Discs can be rented for free at the hotel front desk.
Please note: Due to gardening work and private events, not all holes are available every day*, particularly in summer months. Call (503) 992-9533 for information and availability.
*Known 2013 course closure dates:
May 22, 26
June 16, 29
July 20, 26–27
August 3, 9–11, 17, 24
September 7, 15, 28
