Kris Kringle
Just in time for the holidays, the busy-as-elves McMenamins brewers have created another wonderful gift for your taste buds this holiday season. The 2012 version of Kris Kringle is a hearty and robust ale with a big and bold malt complexity as well as an intense and flavorful hop profile. This "winter warmer" highlights the rich, toasty, aromatic and chocolaty malt flavors as its very sturdy foundation. Generous amounts of four different hop varieties were added in five different additions, which delivers a magnificent and massive hop assault. McMenamins brewers hope you enjoy this years' version of our old Holiday favorite, Kris Kringle. Happy Holidays and a Wonderful New Year!
OG: 1.068 TG: 1.015 ABV: 6.84% IBU: 83 SRM: 15
Sleepy Hollow Nut Brown
This longtime favorite has a chestnut color and medium body that will cast an otherworldly spell over you. The complex malt character, well balanced with Chinook and US Golding hops, will have you walking in a continual reverie. Legend has it that Ichabod Crane downed a few Nut Brown Ales listening to local ghost tales and scary legends at the Van Tassel merry-making party before his fateful trip home.
OG: 1.050 TG: 1.011 ABV: 5.03% IBU: 17 SRM: 18
Spring Fling Ale
This is a festive and zesty little beer. Not too hop forward but you will know they are there with its floral and sweet upfront nose and initial taste. Generous portions of Pilsner malt to provide a clean and smooth palate pleasing profile that you expect from a golden ale.
OG: 1.051 TG: 1.008 ABV: 5.8% IBU: 24 SRM: 6
Hand of Zeus
This is a well-balanced, spicy and floral IPA. Multiple hop additions were utilized in this beer; once in the mash, five times in the kettle, one more time in the hop back and then once again in the fermenter. Brewers Gold, Centennial and Zeus hops were used to make this NW style IPA.
OG: 1.068 TG: 1.011 ABV: 7.4% IBU: 66 SRM: 6
Wilson-Thrill Wheat
A darker and spicier version of our wheat beer, brewed to keep your palate quenched as the days get shorter and the weather gets colder. As always, this beer is unfiltered and made with at least 50% wheat malt making it an American Hefeweizen, which translates to "Yeast-wheat".
OG: 1.057 TG: 1.010 ABV: 6.45% IBU: 22 SRM: 7
Simco-Rillo IRA
This red IPA will throw you a curve ball with its citrusy attitude, deep red hue and strong ABV. The same technique used to make the Hand of Zeus was used to accentuate the floral components of the hops and to create a balance with the chosen malt. The name of this beer is derived from the hops used; Amarillo and Simcoe. Both of these hops work great separately but even better together.
OG: 1.081 TG: 1.015 ABV: 8.5% IBU: 86 SRM: 18
On Nitro Tap:
Java Cream Porter
This porter was brewed using our own cold-pressed coffee; the same coffee offered here at the pub, only now it's in a rich, dark porter. Get the two things the Pacific Northwest is known for in one glass, coffee and beer! The addition of a non-fermentable lactose sugar provides the sweet backbone of this beer.
OG: 1.073 TG: 1.015 ABV: 7.5% IBU: 38 SRM: 31
Honey Graham Pale
German in origin but with the Wilsonville touch, this is a deliciously fresh and biscuity bier. This darker Kölsch style bier was balanced to bring out the sweetness from the honey malt and to encourage the cereal like flavor profile provided by the chosen grain. It is an easy drinking beer and is sure to satiate your palate.
OG: 1.051 TG: 1.007 ABV: 5.7% IBU: 30 SRM: 3
Barrel Aged Sleepy Hollow Nut Brown
Aged in a hogshead whiskey barrel, the aromas of vanilla and oak hit you on the nose while the smooth caramel malt dances on your palate. This longtime favorite has a chestnut color, medium body and complex malt character which is well balanced with Chinook and US Golding hops. It's the perfect brew for a cold autumn night.
OG: 1.050 TG: 1.011 ABV: 5.0%3 IBU: 17 SRM: 18
The Usual Suspects
Hammerhead
A classic Northwest Pale Ale. This rich chestnut colored gem is a model of harmony between hops and malted barley. Hammerhead's signature Cascade hop nose and intense hopped flavor blend nicely with the caramel tones from the crystal malt.
OG: 1.056 TG 1.010 ABV: 5.93% IBU: 44 SRM: 11
Ruby
One of our most popular standards, we still make Ruby with the same aims we had when brewing the first batch back in March 1986: To create an ale light, crisp and refreshingly fruity. Great Western Premium 2-row and 42 pounds of Oregon-grown and processed raspberry puree is used to craft every colorful batch.
OG: 1.039 TG: 1.005 ABV: 4.39%
Terminator Stout
Black as the darkest night, rich as the most decadent dessert, Terminator is for the true stout lover. This is a full bodied and flavor packed ale which draws its robust complexity from kiln-baked specialty grains. Look for a wide array of toasted, chocolate, nutty and coffee-like flavors in every pint! The devoted swear by it, and it remains one of our top selling ales year after year.
OG: 1.065 TG: 1.015 ABV: 6.45% IBU: 30 SRM: 35
Coming Soon...
Barrel-Aged Woodhammer
The Woodhammer is a dry-hopped, barrel-aged Hammerhead that has been blended with our classic Hammerhead. The barrel aging process has replaced some of the traditional cascade hop presence with a tangy oak character. The flavors blend nicely with the caramel tones from the crystal malt and the dry hopping from the Cascade hops.
