Jam Session ISA
Spring is in full bloom and its song plays the soundtrack to a beautiful season. Wanting to add our instrument to the collaboration, the McMenamins brewers were inspired to produce Jam Session ISA, a light and easy drinking beer that embodies the spirit of spring as it fades into summer. Being an India style, expect our quartet of hops to be the front man of this band, providing strong riffs of floral and pine and a beat of citrus. A majority of the hops are added in late additions, which provides full flavors and aromas without the bittering astringency. Whether you're a hard-rockin' IPA drinker or a classical golden ale drinker, you'll find the essence and song of the season in every pint. Enjoy a Jam Session ISA and turn the volume of your day up to 11. A one, a two, a one, two, three, Cheers!!

Dark Matter CDA
For those unfamiliar with the style, Cascadia Dark Ales combine the hop forwardness of American IPA with the roasted malt character of a stout. Beneath its creamy off-white head hides hop notes of evergreen, pine, and spice. Oats provide a smooth mouthfeel and enhance head retention, while black malts contribute the necessary color with minimal roasted flavors. Dark Matter finishes with a mild malty sweetness before fading to robust hop bitterness. Who says dark beers can't be hoppy?!

Hop Nova IPA
Constellations of zested grapefruit, fresh cut pine, mandarin orange, and tropical fruit play on your tongue, while a mild malt sweetness serves to balance the smooth bitterness of this Northwest style IPA. Hop Nova’s light body and dry mouth-feel ensure that each pint will quench your thirst without filling you up. Prepare for a trip out of this world with Hop Nova IPA!

Purple Haze
A light, crisp and refreshingly fruity ale made with boysenberries. Purple Haze is very lightly hopped to allow the berry flavor to shine. Slightly more tart and fuller bodied than our Ruby recipe, this is a pub favorite.

Amber Waves Wheat
Unlike many American wheat beers; Amber Waves displays a prominent Northwest hop aroma and a gentle touch of bitterness. Aromas of citrus and straw swirl above its dense creamy head. The addition of Red wheat to the grist adds a spicy earthy character to the beer resulting in greater complexity and layering. While hoppier than a standard wheat beer, Amber Waves exhibits suburb balance and drinkability. This beer is ideal for those seeking something on the lighter side but who demand more out of their wheat beers.

Blitz Krieg Blond
This hop forward little bombshell explodes with shockwaves of citrus, pine, and spice before dispersing to a dry smooth finish. A restrained hop bitterness ensures this beer remains approachable, while the use of pilsner malts keeps it light and drinkable. Try it with your favorite citrus fruit or all by itself, either way you’ll be glad you did!

Copper Moon
Copper Moon has a bit more malt quality and hop character than most other summer seasonals, giving rise to a refreshing, flavorful beer style that we like to identify as a Summer Pale Ale. A flavorsome yet summery smooth sweetness is the first thing you’ll taste. The hop flavor and aroma intermingle delightfully to generate a dazzling citrusy, floral and slightly spicy olfactory experience. There’s a Copper Moon risin’ again this summer across McMenamins, make sure that you check it out.

Simcoe Solo Pale Ale
A relatively newer variety, Simcoe hops have quickly risen to fame due to their wonderful balance of citrus and one aromas, good storage ability, and high alpha acid content. They perform beautifully in a large variety of American craft beers particularly IPAs.
Malts: Premium two row, caramel vienna malt

Red Shift Amber Ale
This crisp amber ale exhibits flavors of toasted hazelnuts, caramel, candied dates, and a subdued hop woodiness. Red shift finishes dry with a prominent crystal malt character and only a suggestive hop bitterness to balance. This beer is a great option for those looking for something in-between the extremes of super hoppy and super malty.

Dry-Hopped Sunflower IPA (Available July 1st)

This extremely limited release is just one more way McMenamins is celebrating Oregon Craft Beer Month. We’ve revamped our classic IPA using some of the newest and most desirable hop varieties available in the Northwest. To get maximum flavor and aromatic contribution from those hops, we’ve jammed a ton of them in at the end of the brewing process and dry-hopped the finished product to create a truly excellent Northwest IPA with huge citrus, pine, and tropical fruit hop character that will satisfy any hophead. To top it all off, we’ve dry-hopped this year’s batch with Bullion hops, which were a staple of the original Sunflower recipe.

Ruby Ale

Ruby
One of our most popular standards, we still make Ruby with the same aims we had when brewing the first batch back in March 1986: To create an ale light, crisp and refreshingly fruity. Great Western Premium 2-row and 42 pounds of Oregon-grown and processed raspberry puree is used to craft every colorful batch. Simple but delicious. Taste the original!

Hammerhead
A classic Northwest pale ale and McMenamins top selling beer. This rich chestnut colored gem is a model of harmony between hops and malted barley. Hammerhead's signature Cascade hop nose and intense hopped flavor blend nicely with the caramel tones from the crystal malt. This beer has a vocal following. To run out is an unforgivable sin.

Terminator Stout
Black as the darkest night, rich as the most decadent dessert, Terminator is for the true stout lover. This is a full bodied and flavor packed ale which draws its robust complexity from kiln-baked specialty grains. Look for a wide array of toasted, chocolate, nutty and coffee-like flavors in every pint! The devoted swear by it, and it remains one of our top selling ales year after year.
