Ale & Cider on Tap

Enjoy a pint of McMenamins' finest!
Beer available to go at all McMenamins locations.

Jam Session ISA
Spring is in full bloom and its song plays the soundtrack to a beautiful season. Wanting to add our instrument to the collaboration, the McMenamins brewers were inspired to produce Jam Session ISA, a light and easy drinking beer that embodies the spirit of spring as it fades into summer. Being an India style, expect our quartet of hops to be the front man of this band, providing strong riffs of floral and pine and a beat of citrus. A majority of the hops are added in late additions, which provides full flavors and aromas without the bittering astringency. Whether you're a hard-rockin' IPA drinker or a classical golden ale drinker, you'll find the essence and song of the season in every pint. Enjoy a Jam Session ISA and turn the volume of your day up to 11. A one, a two, a one, two, three, Cheers!!

Oh My! Bock

Approachable yet refined, this flavorful German style Mai-bock glows with the full malty flavor that only authentic European malts provide. Beneath its lacy dense head, rich toasted malt aromas dance on the tongue, with only the slightest hop spiciness to balance. A mild malt sweetness lingers on the palate while a crisp finish ensures that each sip goes down smooth. Try a pint and you'll be saying "Oh My!" before you know it.
Malts: German Pilsen Malt, Carapils, Special Aromatic Malt
Hops: Tettnanger, Ultra, Santiam, Sterling
OG: 1.066 TG: 1.016 ABV: 6.45% IBU: 25 SRM: 11

On Nitro Tap:
Dark Matter CDA
For those unfamiliar with the style, Cascadia Dark Ales combine the hop forwardness of American IPA with the roasted malt character of a stout. Beneath its creamy off-white head hides hop notes of evergreen, pine, and spice. Oats provide a smooth mouthfeel and enhance head retention, while black malts contribute the necessary color with minimal roasted flavors. Dark Matter finishes with a mild malty sweetness before fading to robust hop bitterness. Who says dark beers can't be hoppy?!
Malts: Premium 2-Row, Rolled Oats, Munich, Caramel Vienna, Black-Prinz, Black
Hops: Centennial, Chinook, Citra, Columbus, Simcoe
OG: 1.063 TG: 1.015 ABV: 6.20 IBU: 80 SRM: 34

Hop Nova IPA
Constellations of zested grapefruit, fresh cut pine, mandarin orange, and tropical fruit play on your tongue, while a mild malt sweetness serves to balance the smooth bitterness of this Northwest style IPA. Hop Nova’s light body and dry mouth-feel ensure that each pint will quench your thirst without filling you up. Prepare for a trip out of this world with Hop Nova IPA!
Malts:  Two Row, Carmel Munich 40, Dextrapils
Hops: Centennial, Meridian, Mosaic, Simcoe
OG: 1.058  TG: 1.010  ABV: 6.2%  IBU: 70  SRM: 7

Purple Haze
A light, crisp and refreshingly fruity ale made with boysenberries. Purple Haze is very lightly hopped to allow the berry flavor to shine. Slightly more tart and fuller bodied than our Ruby recipe, this is a pub favorite.
Malt: Premium Two Row
Fruit: Boysenberries
Hops: Centennial
OG: 1.04 TG: 1.007 ABV: 4.26 IBU: 4 SRM: 3

Amber Waves Wheat
Unlike many American wheat beers; Amber Waves displays a prominent Northwest hop aroma and a gentle touch of bitterness. Aromas of citrus and straw swirl above its dense creamy head. The addition of Red wheat to the grist adds a spicy earthy character to the beer resulting in greater complexity and layering. While hoppier than a standard wheat beer, Amber Waves exhibits suburb balance and drinkability. This beer is ideal for those seeking something on the lighter side but who demand more out of their wheat beers.
Malts: Premium Two-Row, Wheat, Red Wheat, Unmalted Wheat
Hops: Cascade, Centennial, Chinook
OG: 1.046  TG: 1.006  ABV: 5.16  IBU: 36  SRM: 4

Black Sheep Dunkelweizen
Most beer drinkers are familiar with German hefeweizen and its distinctive banana and clove character. What most folks don’t know is that in addition to brewing standard hefeweizen, the Bavarians also brew a darker or “dunkel” version of the beer. Dunkelweizen is fermented with the same yeast as it’s lighter and more popular cousin, but is mashed with darker grains resulting in its deep umber color. This beer is the perfect option for those individuals who prefer malty beers or who are looking to try something new.
Malts: Munich Malt, Wheat, Pale Chocolate, Crystal 75
Hops: Perle, Ultra
OG: 1.052  TG: 1.012  ABV: 5.2  IBU: 15  SRM: 20

Gleeful Goat Porter
It’s a little known fact that all the spent grain from the Old Church Brewery gets recycled as goat feed. Thus, when a big malty porter such as this one gets brewed the left overs make a special treat for our furry friends. This porter is packed with a variety of different specialty malts to add a generous amount of color and depth. A modest hop presence balances the beer without over powering it. Expect notes of caramel, coffee, chocolate, and a hint of spice in this complex full-bodied porter.
Malts: Two Row, Flaked Barley, Crystal 15, Crystal 120, Pale Chocolate, Chocolate, Black
Hops: Perle, Goldings
OG: 1.063  TG: 1.014  ABV: 6.14%  IBU: 30  SRM: 30

Red Shift Amber Ale
This crisp amber ale exhibits flavors of toasted hazelnuts, caramel, candied dates, and a subdued hop woodiness. Red shift finishes dry with a prominent crystal malt character and only a suggestive hop bitterness to balance. This beer is a great option for those looking for something in-between the extremes of super hoppy and super malty.
Malts: Pale Malt, Rolled Oats, Caramel Vienna, C-135/165, Chocolate
Hops: Nugget, Sterling
OG: 1.052 TG: 1.010 ABV: 5.42 IBU: 30 SRM: 14

Ruby Ale

One of our most popular standards, we still make Ruby with the same aims we had when brewing the first batch back in March 1986: To create an ale light, crisp and refreshingly fruity. Great Western Premium 2-row and 42 pounds of Oregon-grown and processed raspberry puree is used to craft every colorful batch. Simple but delicious. Taste the original!
Malts: Premium 2-row Malt
Hops: Vary
Fruit: Raspberries
OG: 1.039  TG: 1.005  ABV: 4.39%

A classic Northwest pale ale and McMenamins top selling beer. This rich chestnut colored gem is a model of harmony between hops and malted barley. Hammerhead's signature Cascade hop nose and intense hopped flavor blend nicely with the caramel tones from the crystal malt. This beer has a vocal following. To run out is an unforgivable sin.
Malts: Premium 2-row Malt and 75L Crystal Malt
Hops: Cascade
OG: 1.056  TG: 1.010  ABV: 5.93%  IBU: 44  SRM: 11

Terminator Stout
Black as the darkest night, rich as the most decadent dessert, Terminator is for the true stout lover. This is a full bodied and flavor packed ale which draws its robust complexity from kiln-baked specialty grains. Look for a wide array of toasted, chocolate, nutty and coffee-like flavors in every pint! The devoted swear by it, and it remains one of our top selling ales year after year.
Malts: Premium 2-row Malt, Munich Malt, 40L Crystal, and Black Barley
Hops: Chinook and Cascade
OG: 1.065  TG: 1.015  ABV: 6.45%  IBU: 30  SRM: 35

Hard Cider & Perry

Edgefield Hard Apple Cider
Locally grown apples are juiced and fermented into a light, crisp and refreshing hard cider.
ABV: 6.8%

Seasonal Cider: Pomegranate
Pomegranate cider was our second ever seasonal cider, first released in July 2013. This release will be its third appearance, and it is expected to remain on tap until the end of April (to be followed by cherry cider). Our pomegranate cider is crafted with those unexpectedly gorgeous winter sunny days and the warming weather in mind. The tartness of the pomegranate is balanced with the crispness and sweetness of the apple, making for a refreshing quaff rain or shine.
ABV 6.5%
